Should or might Craig's Bond die in Bond 25?

I was just commenting in the Name's Bond 25 thread and started to go off topic by speculating on how the Craig era could be wrapped up. So here we are with this thread. It occurs to me that the DC era is self-contained with continuity and the next Bond actor will herald a new reboot. That makes sense in the current cinematic climate. And if so that opens the door to do the unthinkable - to kill off James Bond. Properly dead. It would be a hell of a shock ending but might it be too much for audiences? So... should this happen? Will it happen?
