    I think Robert Brownjohn is an unsung hero in Bond history. These titles and FRWL's are excellent and iconic.

    Into Miami is another favorite for me.
    I like Cec Linder's Felix, though he's far from my favorite. He does
    have good chemistry with Sean.
    Felix likes to point his finger conspicuously at the villain. Craig would say "Put your hand DOWN!"

    Mr Simmons is getting his a$$ kicked.

    Great "Bond, James Bond" sequence! Actually my favorite Connery delivery, though the original is the most legendary.

    Bond and Jill. First time I noticed 007 is not wearing his Rolex during these scenes. I think Bond should always be seen wearing his watch.
    He has a different watch later, Gold dress watch with a leather strap. There used to be a Bond watches website that identified that watch. He also wears in in DR NO and DIAMONDS.

    As famous as the Q scene is here, I feel there's been too much of an attempt to replicate it in later films, especially the during Brosnan era. With the exception of GF, my favorite Q scenes are the ones where he doesn't issue Bond a new car.
    I always loved the Q branch station India scene in OP, for instance.

    Bond does some golf.
    Auric is distracted by the gold bar and effs up.
    I do love the fact the gambling sequence here is NOT in a casino but at the golf course.
    I really love this bit!
    Bond changes balls.

    Great scene.

    The Ft Knox set is one of my favorite Ken Adams masterpieces.

    Great scene!
    This is one of my favorite endings to a Bond flick.

    Great viewing. Remains my top Bond film...................at least until I watch THUNDERBALL again.

    I didn't really get much of a chance to celebrate Sir Roger's birthday last week, so here we go. I may just comment here and there as there are several pages on this thread of my commenting on this film.
    One of my favorite M scenes: traditional, reliable and classic. I like Robert Brown as M here.
    The iconic legendary Orlov speech sequence, which used to bore me as a child. Now I love it!

    The auction sequence has always been a favorite of mine. Roger looks great here.

    Vijay is my fave Roger ally.
    He's as dashing as Bond himself.
    The hotel concierge has a happening 1983 hairstyle. No one uses the word "happening" any more so I thought I'd bring it back.

    Magda is an amazing Bond girl, IMO. Always liked her.

    Here we go...........this "Bond, James Bond" line reading ranks pretty high for me.
    Roger is superb.

    I've always found Louis Jourdan's haircut during the backgammon scene distracting. He has one of those cowlicks that grows out at the nape. Makes it look as if he's trying to grow a tail.
    He could have worn his GIGI haircut and it been tidier.

    The sheep's head does look pretty nasty I must say.

    I always say SPY is my number one Roger, but I certainly watch this one often. Never tire of it. My most seen Bond film, with possibly the exception of the 2 Dalton masterpieces.

    The Tarzan yell is almost funny.

    Vijay gives Bond a massage.

    He should have quipped in his best Connery accent:

    "The last time someone gave me a massage, it was in Hong Kong. But, unfortunately, I had to cut it short. We were rudely interrupted by a couple of gunmen. So, we never got 'round to finishing it."

    Maud is my new favorite Roger era Bond leading lady...........alongside Seymour, Bach and Chiles.

    Great casting.

    This film really was huge in the summer of '83. Lines around the block. Great summer all round for movies. One of the best during my childhood.

    I love this whole section at Octopussy's palace. Great stuff. Roger and Maud have wonderful chemistry.

    I also like Roger's outfit here. Where can I get a suede vest like Roger's?

    As Bond goes to kiss Octopussy and shuts the doors behind him they wobble a bit.

    This fight sequence with Yo-Yo Thug and his buddies is pretty good. Roger looks tough here.

    Spielberg must have watched OP shortly before shooting TEMPLE OF DOOM. The fight in Indy's room reminds me of this, even though Ford plays it for laughs. Roger plays it straight.

    I love the bit where the soldier yells at Bond during the circus performance and tells him to sit his a$$ down.

    A new John Glen tradition begins here:
    Bond steals a jacket to fit in with the other workers.
    I like Octopussy's jacket, but the Zorin Industries jacket looks warmer.

    Its definitely the one i have watched the most of Rogers. So entertaining, great sequences and set pieces, and the action and stunts are superb!

    TOMORROW NEVER DIES

    In the mood for Pierce, and finally have a little bit of free time.
    The Mickey G scene is legendary. Jonathan Pryce is my favorite Brosnan Bond villain.
    At least until I watch GE again.
    Love the Bond theme as the Aston Martin pulls in to the M meeting.
    This Q scene is my favorite of the Pierce films.

    Pierce is the man.

    Bond on his cellphone begins.
    Controversial opinion:
    Pierce looks cooler on his outdated cellphone than Daniel did on his.

    Vincent Schiavelli.

    I should watch GHOST again sometime.

    Or maybe not.

    With the exception of Timothy, Bond actors arguably look their BEST in the second outing. I think Pierce looks his best in this film.

    Wade reminds me of Sheriff JW Pepper, only not nearly as iconic.
    If Pierce had his TWINE haircut, he'd rock the Naval uniform much better.
    Here it looks a bit like a rental costume.

    As Bond says: "Ladies first" his Omega flops all over his wrist.
    I like to adjust my watchband loose so it does the same thing whenever I make that gesture and say " Ladies first".
