    Most great Bond movies have charismatic ally. Gabriele Ferzetti serves that function here. In fact, he would be a great stand-alone character. This conversation is one of OHMSS highlights for me. The bit coming up between Bond/M and Moneypenny is another.

    I'm not much of a smoker, but I did get a pipe for a wedding a couple years back and seeing Bernie with one makes me want to break it out.

    Love the use of the old Bond themes. It could take one out of the film thinking about previous entries, but I find it to work nicely here to solidify the connection of Sean and George's Bond

    One of my favorite scenes here with Tracy and Draco.
    This film has such a great atmosphere.

    Am I the only one that tears up at hearing “We have All the Time in the World”?

    Not the most popular choice at the time, but the selection of Louis Armstrong has stood the test of time. Thank you John Barry.

    Certainly not! The context of the song is bittersweet both within the film and outside. The hopeful nature of the song's message of having the world ahead of you, but in the film Tracy's death makes it so sad and in real life, Louis Armstrong would pass within the next year or so as well.

    As I get older it's much easier to be moved by music or a well acted scene. Especially when the emotions are played with genuine heartfelt truth.

    This scene is just such great tension without action. The way it's shot, the time dedicated to show the whole operation elapse, the music always building throughout. One of the best stealth scenes from the series.

    My one and only gripe is that this is one helluva safe cracker when just 2 years in Japan, Bond was able to crack a safe with a device the size of a smart phone!

    His safe-cracker device is huge. Like a giant trunk.
    It does have a photo stat machine in there, though.

    Such an unnecessary bit to show M partaking in his hobby here, yet these small throwaway moments add such character to someone that may only get 3-4 minutes of screentime.

    I wish they still made tobler-o-rum. I love Toblerone, and whenever I see that ad in the background it makes me crave to try it!
