Better from Brosnan in the M/Tanner scenes.

Really good Bond/M scene. Brosnan is much more like Bond in this scene.

Poxy BMW product placement. Other than that not a bad Q scene.

Oh god another annoying character. Joe Don Baker is a good actor but Jack Wade is a buffoon.

    Oh I want that DB5...!

Brosnan really does look awkward in these Casino scenes. Very self conscious.

I know everyone says that, including Brosnan himself, but it never comes off that way to me. Probably some semblance of bias in that opinion of mine, I'm sure.

Good scene in the cell between Bond and Natalya. She is stunning.

Brosnan's good in the archive shootout. The score is good here too.

That's the trouble with a composer who doesn't understand the Bond sound, some of their stuff needs rescoring. The tank chase music is great. And it's not Serra....

Great sequence with the Tank, apart from some lame jokes.

I take it you've heard the track Serra provided for the tank chase? Awful.

I do like the third act. Brosnan looks good in his green combat gear 😁

Decent fight scene between Bond and Alec.

Pretty middle teir Bond. Brosnan at times seems he's just playing himself. Other times he's pretty good. Better in the next film IMO.

Best of luck. I watched it earlier today and it's dead last in my ranking (currently), one of the worst viewings I've had of it in some time. The negatives of the film stand out to me much more than the positives.

Trying to finish up LTK before I get busy later tonight. I always appreciate the Die Hard reunion with Robert Davi and Grand L. Bush.

    You mean it’s #24 @creasy ?
Finally someone who understands my feelings about it !!
LTK is 100% better ,people cling to the short story opening and PTS - not enough.
Actually im changing to LTK !

Oh no, I'm in the midst of a chronological Bondathon right now, so it's currently dead last. I know SP will beat it, not sure about the others - my last viewing of SF was actually quite positive, surprisingly, so TLD may end up in 23rd. But yes, it used to be a fairly middle of the road installment for me over the years, I could take it or leave it, but the bad heavily outweighs the good the more and more I see it in the last several years.

Good decision going with LTK! No sense in starting out the weekend by punishing yourself.

This bar sequence in LTK always stands out to me as really poor. Feels like something that belongs in Road House.

Since it was Kamen who did both scores that’s about right x my DVD player has been pissing me off but I think I’ve sorted it,and it was the TV all the time x I already destroyed one DVD player over the sound x anyway this is one of my favourites,I’m behind you though atm @Creasy47 me old mate, just watching that mad old fart wz the beard dancing at the wedding party .
Dalton still doesn’t do it for me tbh .

I've always loved the Afghanistan section. TLD never leaves my top 10.

LTK should have been the one and only rogue Bond film, even DAD still had Bond probing something that could affect his country.
Its lost its uniqueness by the Craig films which have killed the idea and bled it to death .
This is why I love LTK ,Bond infiltrated his way into Sanchez’ organisation,it was the perfect rogue Bond film.
The Craig films have taken a lot away from the older Bond flicks I feel.

Indeed, I'm up to Bond being captured by the ninjas. Too right about Kamen, though I do love him as a composer. I've recently been drooling over his work in the incredible Brazil, one of my all time favorite films.

I must say I think a 3rd Dalton film would have been really interesting x I love this underwater fight and Bond getting on the plane and throwing the drug dealer out ,brilliant Kamen score as well .

I have to agree Tim was the closest to Flemings Bond and I think given a run might have been great, just no USA influence, not well known apart from Flash Gordon, bad marketing and too soon after Sir Roger.
But we got the original rogue Bond ,although I think Daltons accent slips don’t help.

My girlfriend laughed when we got to that scene. Now every time I watch it I can't help but crack up.

Interesting that when Bond visits the mi6 pyramid in TSWLM, that Moneypenny is there but not Rublevitch. While I think it was the right call to show Gogol as the surprise that the KGB was set up there too, it would have been nice to include Rublevitch and have some type of dynamic with Moneypenny.
I love how this film reveals both M's first name and Q's last name.

The Whiskey is poured and it's time for Tomorrow Never Dies.

What a brilliant PTS. Everyone involved. M, Tanner, Bond and the excellent Geoffrey Palmer as the admiral.

And David Arnold's fantastic score. Any Bond fan who doesn't like this score is just wrong.
