    A deserving finish for the top of the list. I'm not much of a fan of some of the comments in this thread directed at the Brosnan Q scenes. I know his films aren't greatly appreciated, but Desmond Llewelyn's Q shared a genuine friendship with Brosnan's Bond that could be felt in each of their scenes.

    There are two scenes that were underly represented. In some ways, I like the TND scene the most because it was probably the most clever presentation of Bond's delinquency in returning equipment in pristine order by going through all of the insurance coverage for his vehicle. It deserved better than 11th.

    The other one is the Skyfall scene, probably because it is an introduction to a new and, in many ways, different Q. The dialogue between the two is more sophisticated and bordering snarky, highlighting that they have just as much respect for each other as they do skepticism. Down the road as we all become better acquainted with the new Q, this will probably become more appreciated.

    The Skyfall scene is nice but I started to vote for it's elimination early on simply because it didn't feature Desmond. I understand why everyone didn't follow that line of thinking and I'm fine with that. It's just what i felt was right in this particular game. Perhaps, in a different context, the SF scene would have fared better. And you're right, Whishaw's Q is still a bit of a mystery to us. His introduction may very well be looked at with greater appreciation in the future.

    Good winner. Very iconic, and both Connery and Llewellyn are damn entertaining in it.

    Great top three! Goldfinger's is truly one of the series' most iconic scenes (our first look inside Q Branch, the reveal of the Aston Martin, Connery playing off Llewellyn's fudduddery), and Llewellyn really made something special of the role in his final few films, allowing Q a warmth and a humor that led to a great chemistry between Brosnan and himself.

    Bond: "You're not retiring any time soon, are you?"
    Q: "Now pay attention, 007. I've always tried to teach you two things. First, never let them see you bleed."
    Bond: "And the second?"
    Q: "Always have an escape plan."
