    All clues thus far:

    In each of the three scenes, Bond is with a woman.
    In each of the three scenes, we see an item with the same function.
    In the OOO, we don't see the item functioning (not that it is needed).
    In two of those films, the woman uses the item with her back to Bond, yet she can see Bond.
    In the OOO, the woman has her back to the item, which is out of sight until Bond reveals it.
    Nothing to do with alcohol. However, in the OOO scene, there is tobacco.
    Bonus clue: Paloma and Madeleine hold the same type of item in Bond's presence.

    Helga uses a lipstick in the plane. The lipstick is a gadget that can create smoke (or what was it?).
    I don't remember scenes with lipstick in the other two. Someone else?

    I think you may be on to something. Although one of the clues is that Bond reveals the item.

    YOLT we see Helga use the lipstick as a smoke bomb
    MR Goodhead is seen at the make up mirror can't remember if she's using lipstick or not
    FYEO can't recall any scene where lipstick plays a role.

    Well done @mtm! The OOO is of course MR and Holly up in her Venice hotel suite not using lipstick in Bond's presence, although we see one or two of them laying around.

    In DN and LTK we see Bond's lighter and ciggie case next to him on the casino table, but not in TMWTGG. In TMWTGG we see Bond at the casino, but without any tobacciana; Scaramanga's lighter and ciggie case is next to him, but not at a casino; while Lazar's cigarette pack is seen next to him at a casino. TMWTGG OOO.

    First time player in this thread, let me try.....

    So, both DN and LTK had the minor or secondary Bond Girls live, whereas in TMWTGG the second Bond Girl (Andrea Anders) was killed?

    DN: Miss Taro was alive
    LTK: Lupe Lamora was alive
    TMWTGG: Andrea Anders ended up dead

    DN, TMWTGG, LTK

    Not anything to do with the female villainesses, nor smoking or casinos.

    I am glad you are challenged @goldenswissroyale I will see if there are a few more guesses and then come up with a clue.

    Bond wears a Rolex in all three films, but only in GG does he check the time.
