    FRWL is OOO as the cooperation stems from a ruse set up by SPECTRE.

    TND is OOO as Wai Lin is Chinese while the other two are Russians.

    All films featured a decoding machines:

    FRWL - Lektor/Spektor machine (used by Soviet Intelligence to de-compile coded and highly sensitive documents, later acquired by SPECTRE and planning to sell it back to the Soviets).
    TND - GPS Encoder (Americans used to control navigational satellites, later stolen by Carver).
    TSWLM - Microfilm (Photographic reproductions of classified Submarine Tracking System schematics from Stromberg, and later got acquired by the Government; whether British or Soviets).

    TSWLM is the OOO because the microfilm was a private property, meanwhile the other two are owned by the Government and stolen.
    Or the other two are Government property got stolen by a private property, meanwhile the Microfilm in TSWLM was opposite as it came from a private property later got acquired by the Government?

    You know I love this thread because it always amazes me how many similarities there are in the films!

    You both have great guesses but they are not correct.

    Both TSWLM and FRWL have personal matters for killing Bond (FRWL as a revenge for Dr. No's death, and TSWLM in Anya for losing her lover).

    TND is OOO because Carver created a fake obituary for Bond for the sake of his business?

    All films are involved with Bond being partnered with a Bond Girl with a Military Rank:

    FRWL - Corporal Romanova
    TSWLM - Major Amasova
    TND - Colonel Wai Lin

    TSWLM is the OOO because it's only Anya who was shown in a Battle Dress (Uniform), while the other two aren't.

    Or alternatively it's XXX being interrupted rather than 007.

    Hmmm, not quite!

    But I think you are close enough to and will give it to you:
    • FRWL Bond is seen with a girl at the start of the movie
    • Spy Bond is seen with a girl at the start of the movie who turns out to be an enemy
    • TND Bond is seen with a girl at the start of the movie

    SPY OOO has the female was an enemy! Over to you @mtm

    Good point @goldenswissroyale he's first seen with a girl in both FRWL and Spy, I suppose TND wasn't a good one to use. Was trying to throw people off the scent a bit by choosing a Brosnan one. LOL!

    All three films involved a Bond obituaries:

    YOLT - It was shown was in the officer's desk as a newspaper.
    SF - It was shown in M's laptop.
    TND - It was shown in the screen by Carver.

    TND is the OOO because the obituary was made by a villain (and Bond wasn't presumed dead?)
