It’s so refreshing to see a filmmaker, with his level of celebrity, with such enthusiasm, commitment and respect for the process and his audience. He’s not whining about how difficult the process is, he revels in it.

Playing “what if” , If they like Hodge’s script but feel it needs more action and spectacular set pieces, McQuarrie, a skilled writer, could incorporate them into the existing script seamlessly.

To the public, this is sudden . I think the parties involved have seen it coming for a while. If this is true, a short list of replacements was compiled , and no doubt some have already been contacted, possibly prior to the announcement.
