  • So... people really didn't like Timothy Dalton at the time? That's so strange to me. TLD is one of my favourite Bond movies. Maybe #4. LTK... probably not in my top 5 but I do like it. People are strange. XD
  • MI6HQ wrote: » Well it will grow on many rewatches. 😉 I understand you, well it's faithfully adapted from the source material, so her character, that's how Fleming wrote her, actually she's much better in the film. she was much more unpleasant…

  • MI6HQ wrote: » Girl? Is it Tracy or those Piz Gloria patients? Well I don't want to pop the bubble on you, as you're not a fan of NTTD and currently watching OHMSS, but this film heavily inspired NTTD, so I'm hoping that it would not affect your w…

  • The Man With The Golden Gun! I only have a few more left and then I've seen all the Bond films - hooray! :D
  • Negative from me. No surprise there after my constant moaning about it XD Are we still doing the scores?
  • 1. CR 2. QOS 3. Spectre 4. Skyfall 5. NTTD

  • I mean... I'm sure that this is very subjective. I'm sure that some people watch NTTD and think it felt fine to them. Back when Skyfall came out I felt like that was too hard on the character also but this movie seems to actively dislike him, to …

  • I mean... for those who don't agree with me... what would you say is the Bond movie that is the hardest on the character? Would you say it's NTTD, or would we not even agree on that? I'd say Skyfall is the second worst for this, but it doesn't ev…
  • lol um, at least one of those is sarcasm XD I did actually want to make this a poll as I knew there would be mixed opinions, but unfortunately this forum doesn't support polls, as far as I could see.
  • I think I'm starting to get it. It's encoded into the video file I think. It increases the file size a lot so you need a good data transfer rate and a player capable of playing HDR files (like VLC). That's my best understanding so far.

  • I've given the four movies as I recall 10, 8, 7, 9. Reloaded... was like a collection of great action scenes strung together but so fast and relentlessly that it kind of got old fairly quickly. They work quite well on their own though, many of th…
  • Yeah I think it's just... a very long and quite complex film so there is a lot to both like and dislike. I think fundamentally it means well and is great fun but just got a bit carried away and ended up looking a bit sloppy. It was also made a…
