Drop The from the title, and it's perfect. ;)

    Love it.

Someone should make a fan poster with the title (stylized like 007 Deadlier Sins).

Obviously not in the Spectre font, but it's definitely my favourite unused Fleming title.

If introducing a new Bond, how about: The Double-O Agent. One of Fleming's suggested alternate titles for Casino Royale.

  • I want Shatterhand for Bond 25 but for a future film I really like Everything Or Nothing (too good a title to have wasted on a videogame imo) and The Richest Man In The World. I also think James Bond of The Secret Service or Commander Bond of The Secret Service would make great titles for the first film of a new actor, really pulpy and old school sort of feel to them.

I think B25 will have a generic title linked to closure or finality, in keeping with the end of the Craig era. So When The Kissing Stopped might actually make sense although I don't think it would be very good. This might be the chance to use The Property of a Lady and I'm guessing the "property" will be Bond and the lady will either be Madeline, some other bird or maybe even a reference to Her Majesty or his loyalty to Judi Dench's M. Another message from the grave triggering an adventure perhaps? The title would reveal finally where this Bond's place is - he's quit, been suspended or faked death so often that we still don't really know how reliable he is, so this film can finally answer it.
I'm unsure whether I want an upbeat CR/SF style ending that suggests Bond is back and will carry on offscreen adventures or something that closes it off. I have an idea on how they might end it - and I will start a new thread in just a moment on that.

Pretty sure James Bond of the Secret Service was a working title for a Thunderball remake, long before NSNA actually got made. Don't know whether EON would go for a title that has links with McClory, even after all these years!

I have always like "For Queen And Country", "The Property Of A Lady" and "ShatterHand", although I'd love an original title. Hopefully they don't just call it "Blofeld" or something obvious.

Afraid it wont be 'For Queen and Country' which i put forward many moons ago, as John Boorman used it for his sequel to 'Hope and Glory' last year.
'Property of a Lady' would be my next choice,
though 'Shatterhand' the more i hear it the more its growing on me!

Yes, I also think it's time for a reference to the Queen.

(The) Property of a Lady it is.

I still really like A Hope in Hell (from @mtm's fan poster for B25). As clever as Fleming's titles like Live and Let Die and You Only Live Twice.
