Guess when the teaser trailer is coming? Also what do you think we'll see?
I figured since the next big thing is the teaser it would be fun to guess when we'll see it I'm gonna guess February.
and as we get closer it would be fun for us to guess what is in it
Potential spoilers)
I have a feeling the London footage currently being filmed will definitely be used as well as some of the turkey stuff and that is about it the main trailer will show off all the locations including Shanghai.
How about you thoughts and hey with what we know get as creative as you want..
My own personal idea is this
Shot of bond and M in london
(Javier doing a voice over) You have trusted the wrong person Mr Bond
shot of the scenes being filmed in london (specifically the attack on mi6)
(voice over continues) I am mearly a business man as for your boss she is a butcher.
shot of M: It is time you know the truth about Skyfall

M: I need to know I can trust you, Bond.
Bond: Well, I need to know I can trust you, mum.
M: Wait, do you trust me?
Bond: I don't know, do you trust me?
M: Really, Bond. Do you trust me?
Bond: Okay, okay. You first.
Announcer: AND THE WORLD IS BEING THREATENED...
Bardem: ...by me.
Announcer: YOU CAN STILL DEPEND ON ONE MAN...
Cut to:
A blank white background. James Bond struts to the middle of the screen, quickly turns and....
Bond: Oh, is this still alright? Shooting the cameraman and all that? I'm not going to offend anyone am I?
Cut to:
A blank white background. James Bond, wearing a wedding dress, struts to the middle of the screen, quickly turns and....
Craig stops and rips off the wedding dress.
Craig: Really, Barbara? I mean, you can't be serious right now.
Babs (off screen, muffled): We're still rolling....
Craig: No. No! That's it, I quit!
Craig walks off.....
Fade to black.
Fade to:
A darkened figure sits at a casino table. As the camera travels closer to the figure, the lighting reveals that it is none other than SIR ROGER MOORE!
Moore: My name is Bond, James Bond. You were expecting someone else? (Raises eyebrow)
Announcer: ROGER MOORE IS BACK AS JAMES BOND 007! AND THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL...
Cut to: Montage of retirement homes, and oxygen tanks being refilled. Moore attempts to run upstairs, but to no avail. At the top of the staircase, Javier Bardem looks down at a huffing Moore with puzzlement.
Cut to:
SKYFALL
Falling into theaters near you. Duck.

As for the dialogue, it would be a voiceover from Javier Bardem. This is actually lifted from the "Angel" episode Reprise, but I think it really encapsulates the feel that I'd love to see in the villain. If it made it into the final film, it would naturally have to be rewritten:
Angel: "You're not gonna win."
Holland: "Well ... no. Of course we aren't. We have no intention of doing anything so prosaic as 'winning'."
Angel: "Then why?"
Holland: "Hmm? I'm sorry, why what?"
Angel: "Why fight?"
Holland: "That's really the question you should be asking yourself, isn't it? See, for us, there is no fight. Which is why winning doesn't enter into it. We ... go on, no matter what."
An example:
Fades from black on Craig, sitting in a dim lit room (of a safehouse, the audience assumes).
He has a fierce look of mixed emotions, the audience senses anger, frustration, and misunderstanding from his expression.
The audience is led to believe he is questioning a target.
The room is dark, so far its only Craig and we assume hes not just sitting with himself at a table.
We can see cigarette smoke puffing from behind the camera.
Bond mutters, "When... how did you.." his voice rising, "PEOPLE ARE DEAD!" he shouts as he stands up and turns around, camera angle changes to face Bond, covering his mouth with his hand.
M's voice opens after a few seconds of silence, "I never expected.. this. Christ, I havn't smoked in 20 years."
The camera pans over from Bond as he turns back around and reveals M. "I didn't want to do what I did then, and I regret doing it now. But its done. I have to face that, and you have to help me."
Bond, through gritted teeth, "And why is that."
M - "Because people are.. innocent people are dying. Your job is to protect them, to find the problem, and eliminate it. Its no longer my personal problem, no longer my skeleton in my closet. Its much more than that, something I never expected happened. I never meant fo -" she is cut off by Bond.
"Shut up. Tell me what I need to know so I can do my job. I'll find symp- pity for you later - if any is due."
M - "His name is Jeberhar DeCortez. He was a Chilean field agent while I was Counsel to the Prime Minister for South American intelligence, for only 11 months. You have to understa-"
"Go on," Bond interrupts.
"A mission went down, we were told to close up. He was collateral damage. We left him behind. I thought he was dead!"
Bond snaps, "Well you were wrong."
M -"Now he wants revenge." as she looks down, Bond glaring at her.
Bond, as he stops on his way out in the door way, "You were right." M, "About what." "I don't trust anybody."
The trailer fades to black, the words in quotations " 'Its like the sky fell down around me' " appear, and collapse to form "Skyfall."
This logo both resembles the sudden attack from Bond's POV and of course when the mission was locked on DeCortez in SA, From Bardem's POV.
But thats very, very serious for a Bond trailer. Again, they won't do one like that, but for me, and intelligence drama/thriller should always have a good bit of dialogue as a trailer.
Perhaps you could have cuts of the actiony bits and sexy bits after the scene, or of Bond "investigating" during M's monologue.

And yes I would have loved to have seen the GunBarrell Sequence in the beginning of the recent films, was a somewhat disappointment.

Perhaps the 4th. Monday n' all.
Mine is May 30th. Just sounds like a trailer date. Actually.. probably May 25, with Men In Black 3's release.
Don't they normally release trailers on Tuesdays? I know movies, and video games themselves are usually released on Tuesdays.
Must say, despite a lot of convenient details lifted from official photos etc. we've seen, there's certainly a lot which makes much sense here:
