    Hehe.

Thanks for sharing your bedroom poster with us, @Dragonpol.

:)) Good one! bedroom poster aside....Connery is sexy #1 for me.
I don't even care to consider where the others might fit, other than maybe Laz at #2.
Laz moved well and had it going on with the girls.....maybe too much based on reports from the OHMSS set, but I'm sure Laz didn't think so.

Edit: Bases on new thread title, I will rank them

    1. Sean
    2. Laz
from this point don't really care, but if I must

    3. Broz
    4. Moore
    5. Dalts
    6. Craig

But the only two that even impress me in this category are Sean and Laz
As I have said elsewhere, I feel 10 feet tall coming out of a Connery film.
The other guys don't bring the same gravitas. Connery was uber mensch!

If I wanted to get a simple lay, I would body swap into...
    1. Lazenby
    2. Brosnan (TND)
    3. Craig (CR)
    4. Connery (FRW)
    5. Moore (LALD/TMWTGG)
    6. Dalton
If I wanted to seduce a "Bond girl" with charm, charisma or magnetism I would rather be...
    1. Craig (SF, SP)
    2. Moore (TSWLM and MR)
    3. Connery (first 5 films)
    4. Lazenby
    5. Brosnan (TND or TWINE)
    6. Dalton

Happily for me, I am more handsome and charming than any of them in real life anyway. That is what scares them all away I think...

Connery and Lazenby were Alpha males, both physically and in character.
The rest were just trying to keep up...

    2. Connery
    3. Craig
    4. Brosnan
    5. Lazenby
    6. Moore

Only Tim gets filed under 'shag without hesitation'. Ranking the others is fun, but more of an academic exercise.

And yet! Who is the ONLY Bond I have EVER had a mildly PG-rated dream about? Pierce flippin' Brosnan. Thanks for that, subconscious!

    The ultimate ranking, congrats!

Dalton is also marrying material, so is Brosnan.
Connery is the epitome of masculinity and sex appeal.
Craig is perfect one night stand material.
Lazenby and Moore are more of a best friend (without benefits).

The only Bond wet dream I had is being together with Bond and Jinx in that bed scene.

Not counting what my imagination can do concerning Goodhead, XXX, Goodnight and especially Tiffany Case.

There's Sean Connery in Goldfinger, and then there's everybody else. I hold that to this day, neither before nor since 1964 has a man ever looked as handsome, alluring, magnetic, etc. as Sean in that movie. The dimples, the nostril flares, the way he could move like an animal through a jungle. Every scene in the movie has little moments in his performance where he exudes sex or attraction, very much on the prowl; it's the big element that keeps Goldfinger a classic. It's not hard to imagine why women were going absolutely mad at the sight of him in those days. He's the only Bond that I believe could get away with all the lascivious things he does, and the only Bond that credibly makes you think no woman of the right persuasion could resist him.

Since the first time I saw him act as Bond in Goldfinger, Sean has been my ultimate "man crush," and that will never change. If I didn't love him so much I'd probably hate him out of jealous envy for all the immaculate and engrossing qualities he had in his day. Nobody does it better.

Have to agree, Sean is on fire in Goldfinger. Just the way he looks at Pussy Galore when he wakes up in the plane. That always gets me going. And how he says "I musht be dreaming".
That's the epitome of sex talk. Nothing else would be needed to say.

This is not really my sort of thing, as I don't look at Bond actors in this way. Having said that, Connery in FRWL & TB, Moore in TMWTGG, Brosnan in GE & Craig in CR all have a certain appeal to them, in the sense that I'd probably want to jump them if I was a female.

@BondJasonBond006, my favorite blink-and-you-miss-it Goldfinger moment happens when Bond confronts Jill on the balcony. Bond has just made Auric lose the game and when Jill asks him to move over so she can get a look, Sean moves just far enough that when Shirley sits up to join him his face is only centimeters from hers, nearly touching her cheek with his nose. At this point you can see him sneak a smell of her hair while she looks down the balcony. He perfectly transmits in his performance how sex hungry Bond is, and how much he wants Jill.

I often see women who are so breath-taking or alluring that they make me think, "Wow, she could get me to do anything," and when I see Sean in his early Bond movies, I could imagine saying the same thing about him if I were gay or a hetero female. He just has that "thing," that special something that makes him feel irresistible. I've never seen a stronger masculine force than Sean in that way, anywhere.

I'm just glad I have the best of both worlds. I often think it would be hard to choose for me between GF Connery, Jill Masterson and Pussy Galore.
But then if I can't make a choice I just take them all.

    1. Brosnan
    2. Connery
    3. Moore
    4. Dalton
    5. Lazenby
    6. Craig

However, Lazenby looked more appealing off screen, he had a really bad haircut in the movie.
Brosnan looked handsome on all of his movies and Moore was good only in the 70s.

Connery Bond in Goldfinger even turned Pussy Galore from (implied) lesbianism for heaven's sake! ;)

Moore would be hurt in these rankings if the 80s films were kept in mind. For most women watching, he'd likely be someone they'd call "grandpa" on accident as opposed to "lover."

Pussy Galore could turn me any time. Honor Blackman is my lifelong girlcrush, and, like poor Tilly, I'd pick her over Connery.

Honor is amazing. When I say, "They don't make them like that anymore," she's one of the women I'm referring to. She could kick my ass with a judo flip any day.

Honor even wrote a book on self-defence in the 1960s so she certainly knew her stuff and was not just acting!

Plus, she was in Columbo* as a killer!

    uh...kinky :P

I don't need her to be covered in gold, I'll cover her with my own colour :P

This is what I want a woman to look like and wear before we get it going on:

I can't tell you how my fantasy runs amok every time I see this. I mean did they do this on purpose? That's as porn as Bond gets for me :P

That she did. And she did her own stunts on The Avengers, fighting and flipping while being thrown on hard cement floors.

She was also a motorcycle dispatch rider in WW2, I believe. My heroine.

A few years ago she did a one-woman show at my hometown's theatre and I bothered her at the stage door. Somewhere I have a Polaroid of me standing next to her wearing that shellshocked 'here I am next to someone I really fancy' expression.

When it came to the total package, early Connery is untouchable. Handsome, suave, sexy, seductive wicked sense of humor, playful and manly. He could just as easily seduce a woman as he could smack a bitch when necessary. The way he moved, the way he took command of a conversation, the way he smoked his cigarette, his facial inflections, his entire body language....nobody comes close.
That scene in TB where he discovers fiona in his bath tub and he hands her a pair of sandals and then nonchalantly sits on the chair like a boss after she asks him for something to put on....that scene didn't require acting, it needed natural charm and charisma and no other Bond actor has been able to achieve that level of magnetism. All the following actors are cool enough and have charm and a degree of good looks and sex appeal but that's because the script demands them to play James Bond; but they all come up short when held against Connery. Sean WAS Bond and the only actor as Bond I actually wanted to be. He was the quintessential panty-dropper ladykiller.

    Roger Moore :x :x :x :x :x
    George Lazenby :x :x :x
    Sean Connery :x :x :x
    Timothy Dalton :x :x
    Pierce Brosnan I-)
    Daniel Craig X_X
  • The only ones that I didn't 100% buy as being irresistible to women in their primes were Moore and Lazenby.

In terms of who I think looks best for the part, I would actually say Dalton. Connery is the iconic image, but Dalton's appearance fit the Bond archetype better than anyone.
