How come Nightfire PC isn't on there? It's different enough from the console versions.

@Agent007391 Does the PC version work with an XBox 360 controller? I might buy it.

The PC version of Nightfire is a downer for those who enjoy the console version immensely. And no, I don't think there's a controller option for the Windows PC. I don't know about the Mac version which I'm told is a direct port from the regular PC version.

I don't know. I had a chance to buy it once at a Goodwill, but I opted for a Star Wars game instead, for some reason. (Who am I kidding? I know the reason.) I just know that it's got about the same level of difference from the console version that TWINE or QoS does.

Its engine is inferior by far, though. The console version is customized Quake III Arena engine, while the PC version uses GoldSRC, the first Half-Life game engine, that is.

I don't know about a controller, but I figured I'd warn you that you will have difficulty running it on anything newer than XP. The disc contains a form of digital rights management that is entirely unsupported by Windows 10, and in 7 and 8, requires certain security updates to be disabled for it to function. Apparently the digital rights management that it uses is known to create security holes and is an issue with many older games. I tried everything I could to get it to work on my Windows 10 machine to no avail, and ended up having to get a PC with XP. That being said, I am enjoying it very much.

I never knew that Nightfire used the Quake III Arena Engine. I thought that it was only Agent Under Fire that used the Quake III Arena engine.

They all did, as far as I know. The only one that didn't use it was From Russia With Love, I believe.

I'm actually surprised to see Legends falling so fast. It's not great, but compared to any of the 2D games, or TND, it doesn't seem so bad.

Games have come a long way since then. The reason why the 2D games were bad were due to the limitations at the time. TND was poorly received because it was an average game at the time and people were expecting that it would have been as good or better than Goldeneye 64 which was an unreasonable expectation. TND did however pave the way for better third person Bond games in years to come and that alone makes it a better game than 007 Legends. 007 Legends was of unacceptable quality for a game made in 2012, and not only that but it butchered several classic Bond moments from the films. They also did not do a good job of tying the movies together.

The video above excluded the Nightfire of the console version. And by the way, wrong footage of a video game labeled as GoldenEye: Rogue Agent was shown. That game didn't even have a slight bit of stealth about it. Quantum of Solace on PS2 wasn't shown, either.

I am now going to try and get bloodstone in the top 10 as honestly it's such a great game sure it ends on a cliffhanger but come on the graphics are good the gameplay is diverse its a tough battle for best Craig bond game between this and Goldeneye to be honest.

It is definitely a great game. I don't even mind that it ends on a cliffhanger, because a lot of the language that Mr. White used to describe Blofeld in SP seemed almost like an intentional nod to Bloodstone. That would mean that the story is wrapped up by being part of Spectre's activities.
