    Sorry.

    So we are officially underway with filming, this is a historic moment as the work of the 50th anniversary film gets moving, it will be interesting to see what they can put together. There is a lot of hype and expectation for next years release and from what I've read on here I don't think viewers will be disappointed by the end product with the release in a years time.

    This could well be the Grand Daddy of all Bond movies

    I feel likes it's about b****y time! Absolutely stoked the film's coming along and MGM issues didn't last as long as they could have. :-D

    Seriously though, I'm excited about this. Wonderful names and finally, yes FINALLY, we have another Bond rolling. Remember though, there's something about the number 23 that tends to cast a dark evil over things. :P

    Relief, indeed. We're finally in production with a new Bond film. It's been too long and I hope we never have to wait four years again.

    With people like Roger Deakins on board this can only make things even better.

    Pretty excited, must admit. More so than four years ago when QOS' filming got underway; no doubt because that was rather perfunctory compared to the filming of SF actually getting underway. It's been a long wait and now at last it's happening. And, for some reason, dare I say it, there feels (after that press conference) something rather special about SF; like this really could be a special Bond film - more so than there was with QOS.

    It feels like one long advent in the run up to Christmas. Or something... ;)

    Can't wait. Can't wait can't wait can't wait! As some have already said above, it is mainly relief for me! I never doubted Bond return but after all the uncertainty over the last year it feels a little unreal that it's actually happening, and happening with perhaps the most talented cast and crew ever assembled for a Bond film! I keep imagining the rug to be pulled out from under us, and we learn that Brett Ratner or someone has to step in to replace Sam Mendes

    I feel that Bond has come a long way. To mega budgets $200 million to oscar winning actors and now an oscar winning director! wow
    Dr No's budget was $1 million
    Christopher Walken was the first Oscar winning actor to appear in one (after his win)
    Now we have had Halle Berry, Jarvier Bardem, Judi Dench who is well respected in the film world and now a kick ass director like Sam Mendies. Bond has come a long way. Credit this to the production team and the longivity.

    I feel spectacular. I love the enthusiasm from everyone attached to Bond 23 and can't wait to see Dan's talent continue to shine in what is sure to be a very thrilling addition to the Bond franchise on it biggest anniversary yet!!!

    I feel frustrated. It's going to be difficult to avoid spoilers at the best of times, but one the film premieres in England, I have to go an entire month before the Austalian release without finding out anything about the film.

    To tell you the truth, I am going through a number of emotions.

    When the MGM financial problems were dealt with and a new Bond movie was scheduled for 2012, I was relieved.

    When it was announced that Sam Mendes was announced as the 23rd Bond Director, I was psyched; directed top movies including American Beauty and Road to Perdition.

    Though I have to admit that now I am a little pessimistic following the much criticised Quantum of Solace production.

    I have my concerns regarding some of the casting, and hope that the script is much better than QOS.

    Personally, I believe Skyfall is not a great film title. I hope that I am proved wrong and Skyfall truly will be "better than Casino Royale" - doubtful.

    Does it have to be BETTER then CR? Wouldn't most be happy, when it turned out just as good?

    CR, was one of the best films overall. Skyfall has me intriqued..They better not the screw the movie up though. They have an amazing cast & crew so far, so i'll keep my fingers crossed that this film is "THE ONE" for Craig.

    excited maybe people can stop bashing one of my favorite bond films (Quantum of solace).... one can only hope lol

    though I'm excited for a different reason entirely we know next to nothing about skyfall and that is kinda cool. I wonder how long Sam can keep a lid on this?

    Yes, I remember feeling quite excited about TWINE which had a truly impressive International cast, respected director, top notch crew etc....and in the end it all seemed a little bit flat.

    In other words the script for SF really has to be as good as Craig, Mendes and others tell us it is. Without a good script the best cast in the world can do nothing.

    Having said that, like others here I am anticipating this to be a very good Bond film. I also hope they stick to a 2 year cycle for a while just to ensure Craig is young enough to continue for the foreseeable future.

    I feel ecstatic, it's a wonderful feeling to know they're filming as we speak. I feel it's going to be a special Bond movie with the new additions for both the cast and crew, that I've no doubt.

    Excited, hopeful that with the director and supporting cast we'll get a film as good as CR and hoping we won't get another Dire Another Day!!
