  • DC looks 10 years younger in this poster then he did in Skyfall. He probably won't look like that in the film, though.

Not sure yet.Too Roger Moore for my liking. Would have liked to have a seen a Blofeld hint. I know its only a teaser so hope for more from the one sheet.

I noticed the rather unfortunate 'coming soon' date in a poor position on DC too! =))

    I like the poster.

By the way. The style reminds me of this one:

The band on the watch is the same as the one Bond sports in GF and TB.

I do like this teaser poster. (not the one immediately above my post; I mean the official new poster with Craig).
    Nice stance, too, Craig. :)

This is what I thought of when I saw the poster...

Well I love turtleneck and it does look neat and tactical. Soberly elegant, yet useful.

My prediction of it being very minimal turned out to be right then! Have to say like I mentioned in the other thread was that it screams Moore from LALD. That coupled with the "Day of the Dead festival" if that is what its called? Quite a LALD tribute! Seeing as it is my own personal favourite seeing as it was my first film? I'm happy!!!! 8-X

Not the same watch strap by the looks of things, this looks like the black with grey stiles one that Omega have been selling for a while now.

Are we still expecting a blog from Rome if the teaser is due on the 28th?

Have to laugh a bit of all the People who said Craig was starting to look old and that his looks hadn't aged well. On all the shots he looks absolutely smashing! Arguably even better than in CR.

Daniel is looking fantastic, love the LALD throwback outfit. As a poster, though, it is I imaginative.

It is not ALL photoshop! I am sure those are real muscles at least... ;)

And I am not only talking about the posters, but every shot and teaser clip from the production.

I think the ageing remarks were aimed squarely at his craggy face. I don't think anyone would dare question the shape he's in.

I think his 'craggy face' looks very good as well. From a male perspective that is...

All you have to do is watch the December press conference or the photocall on Italy...Craig looks just as good if not better than he dud for CR.

I love his craggy face too, they don't need to airbrush it out. It gives him character.

    Thanks @antovolk

Daniel Craig looks virtually the same as he did 9 years ago.

    That's PhotoShop for you

    It's more his haircut.
This is almost the same haircut he had in "Casino Royale".
With really short hair like in SF he looks older.

Welcome to the world of Adobe Photoshop.

Of course they photoshop the pictures. But the Casino Royale pictures are photoshoped, too.
    It's his hair.
If he had the haircut from Skyfall now, then he would look like he did 3 years ago.

First of all: I truly like the new "SPECTRE" teaser poster.
    jYbvANt.jpg
Don't forget, photography is an art too (Michael Wilson knows that). And I think this new teaser poster completely nails it. Wun-der-ful bit of photography. Yes, perhaps there was some photoshopping done on it, but nowhere as obvious as with the teaser poster from CR (Allthough I still love that one) and the final full-sheet posters of QOS.

This teaser poster (And I'm playing "Goldfinger" very loud now) pays tribute to NOT another Marvel sci-fi superhero. Actually, it distances itself from it completely. What you get is a man staring at you, with tons of self-assurance. And actually, such simplicity can be quite efficient. It leaves the interpretation and analysis of this teaser poster entirely over to your own imagination.

Some (rare) examples (to compare with the "SPECTRE" teaser above):
    tumblr_mxo7qiTBwc1r0ndmlo4_1280.jpg
    House-of-Cards-Season-1.jpg
    Rush-Character-Poster-Chris-Hemsworth.jpg
    original.jpg
    [img][/img]tagheuermcqueen2.jpg
    Brad%20Pitt%20Wallpaper%20016%20.jpg

And although above images would suggest that such "full staring face" posters are not so original, I believe the majority of action-blockbuster posters nowadays are at least not as simple and stylish. Yes, we could have asked for a Kingsman-esque poster, or perhaps even a poster that has been completely drawn/painted, like those early Bond film posters. But I think what works for Craig's Bond is simplicity.

We have heard director Sam Mendes saying on quite a few occasions that in "SPECTRE" James Bond is now "on a mission from the very beginning". I think this shows on this teaser poster. By letting him wear true "spy gear" (turtle neck, black), you can tell that 007 now truly needs to channel his own skills; the skills that he has familiarised himself with during his previous three Bond films. Yes, there will be a personal backstory in "SPECTRE", but I do feel that, looking at this teaser, Bond is now way more in control of himself.

By the way, I was just reading some reviews on the internet about the "SPECTRE" teaser poster, and the positive remarks are quite huge in numbers. We make comparisons to Roger Moore's first outing as 007....
    rogermoorebrokenglass.jpg?v=1405417793
....but on the internet I can only find comparisons made to Steve McQueen in "Bullitt". Well, as the Rome car chase starts to turn out like it used the blueprint from the "Bullitt"-chase, the teaser certainly has "Steve McQueen" written all over it. A Bigger compliment you can't get ;-).

Love it. Can someone put the bullet hole on it like in that Roger poster? That would be great. Cheers.
