Wasn't expecting a win there. Wouldn't have picked Life of Pi either, to be honest. A rather poor year for scores.

GUYS! THIS IS UNIQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! A BOND FILM WINS TWO FRIKKIN' OSCARS!!!!! I'M GETTING WILDDDDD. NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I'M A CRAZY BOND NERD WHO BELONGS IN A MENTAL INSTITUTION!!
  • Not a fan of the song, congratulations none the less.
  • "Oscar-winning film Skyfall..." I like the sound of that.

As I've said before, if someone told me 30 years ago I'd see a Bond film with this level of critical and box-office success, and two Oscars to boot, I'd never have believed them...

Well done to Adele and Paul Epworth. Finally a Bond song wins an oscar. 2 oscars is a great achievement. Disappointed Roger Deakins didn't win. I think he deserved it for a beautifully lensed motion picture. And I really thought Thomas Newman was about to pull a suprise win...

This is nitpicking but I just wish Adele's performance of SF was better as it's such an epic song when executed right.

WOW! Big surprise. Ang Lee wins 'Best Director', and not Steven Spielberg :-P. I'm not surprised now if 'Life Of Pi' wins 'Best Picture' :-O. Still 'Argo' will win, but it'll be much tighter.

True, however just based on how many people have seen the film in theatres alone I think that almost everyone's heard the "real" version of it...and that's not counting those who watched the DVD, heard the song on the radio, or in a store or gym... ;-)

Affleck should be there, not Lee.
