I do struggle to see the world where Kraven gets the lead in a Denis Villeneuve film. Turner is still a bit of a punt I guess, but I can imagine that happening much easier.
One thing is that where Craig insisted on seeing a script, I reckon if an actor at the stage of his career that Turner is at gets offered the lead in the new Villeneuve blockbuster movie, you just take it no matter what the script is!
Villeneuve may be mistaking him for Josh O'Connor :D
I struggle to see ATJ convincingly leading a big franchise in general! I think he works better as a supporting actor (not that I've rated even those performances of his highly. He's a weirdly uninteresting, one dimensional actor). I think Turner has made much more of an impact in what I've seen of him.
I suppose it shows the place the Bond franchise is in now compared to the post DAD years. I'm guessing he's still going to have to go through some sort of audition process and convince producers/executives, and any actor anyway is going to have to ask themselves if it's worth them doing or what they can bring to the role.
I have to say, that’s a good one…
Anyway, I think there's definitely something about him in that sense whether he's the next Bond or not. It's also not something I've heard said directly about any other potential (even Dickinson and Elordi, who seem to have been mostly in more 'prestigious' tv shows or films rather than an E4 drama. I'm certainly not seeing anyone raving about Leo Suter being a future movie star based on Lynley).
I would go with Renaux and Flatters.
My sentiments exactly.
After that interview about I Know What You Did last summer, iam 100% for Jonah Hauer-King as new Bond. Whyle with Turner i always thinking there must be better choose somewhere, but accepted him. Like when liked to see Clive Owen follow up Brosnan. But with Jonah Hauer-King i think if Eon or Cubby was stil around that casting him.
For my taste both actors and also some other actors i see in this thread (include my own other suggestion) made to much behind paywall/streaming movies. But more present Jonah is seen more in cinema movies that also be released on Bluray/DVD in The Netherlands. On this moment it is 4-4 with possible 1 movie for Jonah it is just waiting on it will out. For him on this moment: I Know What You Did Last Summer, William Tell, The Little Mermaid and A Dog's Way Home. For Turner: The 2 Fantastic Beast movies, Emma and Assassin's Creed.
Good looks for Bond and i think good enough actor for it too.
I've only seen Hauer-King in the most recent series of Doctor Who and I think he gave a good performance in spite of the material to put it politely. I think he's in World on Fire, a WW2 program that I've been meaning to watch for a while, that's probably better 'Bond audition' material.
I was really underwhelmed by him in that to be honest. He had a pretty effectively-written baddie role (not sure what was wrong with that ep?) which should have been really hissable considering what his character did, but I thought he made little impact. I also saw him in House of Dynamite as pictured there, and he's fine in it, the role doesn't really give him loads to do though. Funnily enough he's sharing that scene with Idris Elba as the President and he's playing a Marine; two English blokes making important decisions about the US!
I can tell by looking at him he doesn't have the masculine energy for the role.
Gaydar? ;)
Meanwhile, Nicholas Galitzine is coming around again.

So, let's go with a CGI of a DEAD actor for Bond, and then the poster can say:
It's Bond. From b e y o n d
: )))
Do you mean not much enthusiasm? I kind of get that, but on the other hand he seems way less divisive than I would have imagined anyone else would have been: I don’t think I’ve seen anyone say they can’t bear the idea of him doing it.
