Just wanted to share two phenomenal live performances from back in the 90's:

The first gives me energy, the second gives me goosebumps.

I haven't done an A/B of the 2025 mix for "Real Love" yet @Fire_and_Ice_Returns. However, the mix of Harrison's guitar licks seems low (IMO).

Currently on my second full play through of Anthology 4 and its an enjoyable listen to be fair. Some have complained many of the tracks have appeared elsewhere before, I don't have all the Beatles deluxe sets so its not an issue for me.

I rather like the instrumental tracks and Helter Skelter take 17 is wild, is it worth £25 probably not though being a completionism I was always going to buy it.

I am looking forward to the Anthology documentary on Disney+, it will be interesting to see what is added.

@Fire_and_Ice_Returns, as someone that has Anthology 1-3 *and* the box sets for SGT. PEPPER, THE WHITE ALBUM, ABBEY ROAD and LET IT BE, the 13 (or so) new outtakes are enough to justify the purchase. Of course, I'm a massive Beatles fan.

What will be interesting to see, is how the 8-part documentary differs from the original Anthology DVD release (it has never had a Blu-ray release BTW). Will there be new material or will it be simply a remaster of the same. Some years ago, a "Director's Cut" with three hours of additional material made its way to the bootleg market.

I'm especially curious about the nineth episode. One was included on the original DVD release, but from what I've read, the new "9th part" includes additional footage.

A few have claimed on YT that there is an extra chapter to the Anthology documentary, I am on leave for a week so looking forward to watching part one later (probably early hours for me).

Just listening to Anthology 4 again now it works so well as a compilation album. CD 1 just flows effortlessly, When I first got Anthology 1 - 3 I did listen to them a lot though there were 3 albums to contend with, its good to listen to Anthology 4 in isolation. Do you think Carnival Of Light should have appeared?

P.S. The more I listen to Anthology 4 it is worth the money.

    Baby, You're A Rich Man (Takes 11 And 12)

This is great, subtle The Rolling Stones reference from Paul.
