My first choice is still Leo Suter.
He looks like the guy of Cover up and Voyagers..
Suter is my top choice for the role, but I do think he needs a Guy Richie film or a prime time BBC drama to show his potential as Bond.
Oh please, I’ve watched several interviews and he is far from being an “ airhead “ .

Tell me he doesn't look like Bond here?
I think he has tremendous potential but I’m absolutely aware that he could fall flat during the casting process including screentests.
Oh yeah. I mean, this is out of our perception entirely. Personally, I just don't see enough there to fill the big screen as Bond, or even a lot of other roles, but as I said I'm willing to be proven wrong, and would be happy if it came in exchange of a James Bond I enjoy. I'll certainly be looking out for the next couple of films he's in.
His voice is very good though, and I genuinely believe he'd be good in a video game or audio adaptation. A bit like how I don't think Toby Stephens would have been the best option for Bond but excelled in that area.
Nowadays Toby Stephens would make a great Bond villain. He looks far more menacing mature than he was in DAD. He'd make a great Drax now, ironically enough.
He has the looks. I don't think it's enough but who knows. Lynley might be his Remington Steele.
In his defense, this one suits the character of Lynley
