Thank you, its give a lot more context to the two trailers.
From the trailer it looks like that's kind of the point, I guess there will be a backlash to his race and that'll be part of the story of the actual show.
It all looks a bit meta to me; like there have been other films and shows commenting on the superhero genre (like The Franchise) and now Marvel want even a piece of that pie; they can't even let other people spoof them.
I will give Wonder Man a chance as Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is a good actor and Ben Kingsley is amusing as Trevor.
I did watch the Friendly Neighbourhood Spider Man cartoon a few weeks back when I had covid and it was enjoyable enough on my sickbed.
I watched Thunderbolts a couple of weeks back; just nothingy, although maybe slightly less bland than Captain America 4 which feels like a TV movie.
Yeah I am curious how this all fits in? The original movie of Wonder Man seems to fit in the Fantastic 4 timeline. But the remake seems to be set in present day? Is this a way to bridge those two generations? How does the Fantastic Four end up in Avengers Doomsday.
I haven't seen any Disney Marvel Movies since...Spider-Man No Way Home? I did catch the OG Daredevil series. Also watched Hawkeye TV series. I have lost interest in the films and series as they have brought in characters that don't interest me or have characters I don't even know.
Well…, original Wonder Man movie definitely doesn't fit Fantastic 4 timeline because Fantastic Four (Earth 818) come from another universe than MCU (Earth 616).
I suspect the Fantastic Four will meet up with the rest of the MCU heroes through some kind of rift in space-time.
I have no idea what to make of this? :-??
Then google it lol it's BASED ON A COMIC BOOK
Superman is surprisingly similar in tone and yet absolutely nails it, it feels so much more fresh and energetic than this, and although it had problems, I came out of it really liking the central character and wanting to see more of him. With these four I feel nothing at all.
There's a QR code at the end which leads to some free comics if you want more.
I will give First Steps a watch as I have a Disney + subscription currently because of Only Murders In The Building. F4 will be the first MCU content I have watched this year.
Edited: I lasted 1 minute and switched it off, I will stick to my Tim Story Blu-ray's.
Best superhero film i've seen in a long time!
Everything mostly works like a charm in this confident production. Loved the retro/futuristic look of the film. The cast nail it big time. Wonderful chemistry from the Fab 4. I thought Vanessa Kirby was the stand out and steals the entire film IMO.
Some really cool set pieces that aren't overwhelming, some wonderful humour straight out of the comics and a really deft origin sequence shot in a super 8 newsreel style that takes us through the F4's creation in a few minutes.
Marvellous entertainment!
