That wasn't him, but I take your point about Romulus (though I liked the film a lot overall).
Regarding Alien: Earth, I was with it all the way until the last episode which just didn't land for me. Morrow and Kirsch are by far the most exciting characters on screen and the show has really negatively felt their reduced presence in the last two episodes for me.
And, that's before we get to Wendy and the pet alien stuff. I can see it being an interesting idea on paper but it just looked very silly in motion. That could be down to the direction, admittedly.
The season overall was incredibly stupid and all the characters equally so, saying that I found it entertaining for how ridiculous it was. The show did start to run out of steam in the last few episodes, god knows what insanity we will get for season 2.
I largely wanted to see more T Ocellus in action, in spite of my nightmares ...
I don't think it was meant to be a full finale. I think they were banking on a at least a second season.
I don't really know what to make of it other than it reminded me of what my students would probably want to do to the school should they be suddenly granted superpowers.
My guess is she was able to intuitively mimic the frequencies of a queen Xenomorph. So that makes me wonder, if a queen were actually present, would the drones then ignore Wendy in favor of the queen?

“You know, [franchise producer] Walter Hill is a very good friend of mine and he wrote 50 pages of where Ripley would be now and they are quite extraordinary,” she said, according to People.
“So, I don’t know if it’s going to happen, but I have had a meeting with Fox, Disney or whoever it is now,” added Weaver. “I have never felt the need [to reprise the role]. I was always like ‘let her rest, let her recover.’ But what Walter has written is, first of all, seems so true to me, as very much about the society that would incarcerate someone who has tried to help mankind, but she’s a problem to them so she’s sort of tucked away.”
Would love another Sigorney Weaver Alien movie. But we been teased too many times over the years for one. Ill believe it when it happens
I was going to dismiss it until I saw Walter Hill's name, I am intrigued.
That would of been fun but it seems like Scott is done with Alien and Cameron is too busy with Avatar
Alien and Aliens are two of the best movies of all time. I just hated what they did so much with Alien 3 and Resurrection. I feel the character Ripley should have had a better ending than that.
