I revisited the Dollars Trilogy last year, outstanding films. I did not know Arrow had been involved, i have many Arrow Blu-ray's all superb presentations.[/quote]
These are probably the best releases Arrow have ever done. The limited editions have long sold out but the standard editions are still available on their website.

What is the difference between the Standard and Limited Editions? I will have a look online and see what i can find.

HD
Looking forward to re watching this, New York has rarely been photographed as well as it is here, the city becomes a character in itself. It occurred to me I have only seen this film on SD format, had a quick look at the HD quality and the picture looks fantastic.
This cassette must be pretty rare.

Blade Runner score on CD
Blade Runner 2049 score on CD
Lovely set @Fire_and_Ice_Returns Great film that i only watched again recently.
Which Blade Runner score did you get? I found the official release awful. The best one i have found is the complete music score performed by Edgar Rothermich. It's an incredibly accurate rendition of the Vangelis score. Including the main titles music missing from the official release.
Main Tiles - Film Version
The Prodigal Son Brings Death
I have The Usual Suspects on Blu-ray though saw the Arrow 4K set yesterday at a reasonable price so had to get it, fantastic film no matter how many times i watch it I get totally engrossed in the characters and story.
The Blade Runner CD was released in 2022 (reissue?)I think its the one based off the directors cut (should arrive by post today around lunch time), I had the earlier release on tape many years ago though discarded it like a fool along with a lot of my music.
I did have two versions of the Blade Runner score though it was so long ago now I don't remember details, I don't think I ever had the score on vinyl.
I will take a listen at the two links you posted, cheers.
Edited: The main titles and prologue set up the tone of the film so well brilliant opening to a movie. You are right the performance is spot on.
Just on my PC and noticed I already have Blade Runner 2049 digital download, oh well I did not have it on CD.
I also have the New American Orchestra unofficial soundtrack on CD. It gets a lot of flak, but for a long time it's the only Blade Runner soundtrack we had!
I don't like the BR 2049 score much. It works OK with the film but on its own i find it pretty meh.
Glad you liked the track i shared!
Blade Runner CD just arrived the small print says 1994 (2022 reissue) which if I remember is when the official score was first released, before then there were only unofficial versions as Vangelis blocked the soundtrack for many years. I had one of the unofficial scores much like the unofficial Bond scores of the time I had a lot of those in the 80's.
Not heard Blade Runner 2049 score for a few years, listening to Tron Ares the other day made me want to revisit sci fi scores. Despite owning Blade Runner 2049 on 4K disk I have probably only watched the film twice, this film is very mixed for me.
Edited: Blade Runner score I bought sounds pretty good to start with, though as I went further into the score I felt it could be a lot better. I am hyper critical listening through my reference grade neutral headphones some tracks sounded muddy, my heavier base headphones will be more forgiving.
This CD is lacking a better mix and good remaster in parts.
Yeah, i was disappointed with the Blade Runner CD when i got it in 94. Some of the tracks really stood out well, but the added dialogue and sound effects were a big minus. Keep it simple!
I'm not a fan of Blade Runner 2049. It looks fantastic and the acting is great. But plot wise i find a lot of the film problematic. I think it's horribly overrated. I don't even own it. Like you i have only seen it twice.
As much as I like the dialogue in the film itself (Roy Batty's monologue gets me every time, amazing) placed on the score of Blade Runner does drag it down and the sound quality is poor relative to some of the tracks.
The world building in 2049 is good, I agree the story seems to lose its way very quickly, not a fan of the finale.
Nice to see YOLT era Connery get some love. I always thought his weariness embodies the Bond of Fleming's novels in this one.
I bought the Sean Connery 6 film Collection in steel box housing steel books, they have done an incredible job with the 4K restorations, enjoy.
