I made zero effort to watch the England game last night, the group games are rarely that competitive. Some did complain about Tuchel even though he won which is ridiculous, it is what he does at the world Cup that counts.

Haven't been able to watch any of the England games after Tuchel took over. Have they been particularly bad?

I have watched a couple Tuchel is efficient enough I can't comment on last nights game though the games i watched he is clearly trying to determine what his best team is, which makes sense he has not been there long in international management terms.

Tuchel is giving youth a chance which is encouraging.

Are Norway still maintaining good form in your group.

That's my takeaway from what I've seen too. The average age can't be that high, looking at the names that have played games under his management. Seeing as many of these players are likely to feature for years to come, I think it's a clever move. It's not like these young players aren't capable of delivering. England has a lot of talent to choose from.

Norway played a friendly on Thursday. I wasn't particularly impressed, but a friendly isn't going to give much indication of form. The qualifier against Moldova on Tuesday will be very important. In previous tournaments this has been the type of game where Norway have ruined their chances of qualifying, so I hope they don't think this game will be easy. They have likely never had a better chance of qualifying, so they need to secure the three points in the games leading up to Italy away in November.

England have one of the best squads in world football, I was concerned about CDM though with Warton and Anderson emerging at the right time we could go far in the World Cup.

There are a lot of very good players that are not in the squad also, so much competition for places.

Ødegaard and Haaland need to be at the World Cup, they don't want to be on the list of great players that never appeared at the pinnacle of international football. Did they both miss Euro 2020?

The timing of those two emerging as options couldn't come at a better time, that's for sure!

With the number of games players are expected to play these days, you don't only need the competition, but also a number of players to choose from that are actually fit to be available for selection.

Yes, they were both part of the squad competing for a place in Euro 2020. I looked up the players that were part of the national team around that time, and it's safe to say that they can field a much stronger team now.

Completely forgot England played last night so missed another game, good win away to Serbia just watched highlights. Serbia 0 - 5 England with no Saka, Palmer, Bellingham, Grealish or Foden, ridiculous depth in our squad.

    International breaks are overrated.... :-O

Saliba is out for at least a month so gotta replace him.

    Very much so!

Saliba out now, with the games Arsenal have ahead of them, can be season defining. I expect they will fall behind even further without him…

Arsenal defended well against us without Saliba last week. Probably the best defence/mid in the league ?

Interesting to see who will start for us, Ekitiké, Isak or both ?

Chelsea charges: FA hand Blues 74 charges relating to agent regulations and third-party investment in players

Options won't be a problem for England, that's for sure. Wonder how Tuchel's preferred starting eleven looks like when everyone are available.

The defence is up there, that's for sure. Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapié will be important additions to the defence this season.

Isak will have missed quite a bit of preseason, so I won't be surprised if he's "eased" into action. Liverpool's attack is probably the best in the league alongside City's, even without Isak.

Do we know hoe Chelsea can be punished for these charges? When you hear things like this, you can't help but think of the City charges…

Still not decided myself. Been a busy week, so I will only have tomorrow morning to decide what I want to do. I have a potential wildcard draft in place, but even though my team doesn't look good right now, the timing of a wildcard isn't optimal. There are better fixtures to target from gameweek 5 onwards – at least for the transfers I'm considering.

I will probably make some panic decisions early on if I make the mistake of listening to FPL channels lol

I'm still deciding on if I want to make a panic wildcard or not! :))

I am refusing to check my team lol ignoring it for a few weeks may be a better tactic as so far my discissions have been a disaster.

Haha, I must admit that thought crossed my mind regarding my team as well!

I decided against the wildcard in the end, as gameweek 4 looks like such a difficult week to play a chip other than Free Hit in – which I didn't want to use this early. It looks very likely that I have to wildcard next gameweek though. Once the game updates, I will have another look at next gameweek's fixtures, then see what I'm likely to do. If I wildcard, I will make sure to make the decision early, to catch potential price rises.

Here are the gameweek 4 captaincy picks!
    Salah: 6
    João Pedro: 3
    Haaland: 2
    Gibbs-White: 1
    Gyökeres: 1
    Fernandes: 1
    Ekitiké: 1

Salah is our most captained player this gameweek, playing a promoted Burnley. João Pedro and Haaland are the only other players backed by more than one manager. Good luck everyone!

Maybe I should have checked my team as benching my forest assets would have been wise :))

Didn't know what to expect from Forest given what's happened in the last few weeks, but I'm just happy Arsenal got a win from a good performance today. Zubimendi and Madueke in particular, looked good.

Sold Murillo for Munoz, which is one of my few good decisions this season so far!

I am not on the ball at all again lol I can see me losing more ground this GW as my team is pretty poor, I should never have changed my GW1 squad as with hindsight it was good.

I could do with the Manchester derby being a goal fest which is quite possible.
