Bloodstone being inspired by Diamonds are forever

I didn't spot that; go on then, do tell.

Well in both scenarios its bond going through a pipeline and dealing with precious gems again i would argue its a loose adaptation but i feel Fleming’s blood in the game excuse the pun

Silent War: I was looking for a modern twist on Cold War. Pretty much what acconflict in the espionage world is, a sort of silent war.

Golden Trap: Titles with gold in Bond films tend to grab attention, if nothing else.

With the variations of "Forever and Never" being suggested, I think I'd go even simpler for a catchy title:

    Never Forever

Pascal and Heyman just scream wrong for bond i am surprised i am the only one who sees ghosbusters 2016 and barbie and suddenly gets worried

Don't know enough about Heyman, but Amy Pascal's rather juvenile attitude revealed in her emails on previous projects, such as Ghostbusters 2016 and Spectre, as well as NOTORIOUS WAY OF TYPING IN CAP, really makes me question her intelligence and usefulness.

For me it’s all about Heyman. He’ll save the day.

Heymen did produce the Harry Potter films and paddington but both of those as far as i know dont require an on hand producer the way Bond does/did

Again love or hate Babs but she was involved in bond since what 1981ish as was most of the EON family so unless you were a Connery purist you cant deny that all our fave films were EON based

I cant shake the feeling Amazon will give us a bizare never say never again kind of alternate universe bond film.

Look denis is a step in the right direction but he is also an EON hold over

I hope it works out and i will see it but honestly unless something drastic changes first light is the only thing of 007 i am excited about

Well, we've had that for the last 30 years.

    Classic Bond ended with LTK.

Even NSNA has Connery and Fleming, which is more than many modern movies have.

And I don't know why being a Connery purist is any worse than being an EON purist.

The brosnan and Craig eras had films based off the fleming books so unsure what you are talking about

Craig? sometimes, Brosnan not so much. At least from a purist point of view.

LTK was already a movie made with leftovers, but after that there's almost nothing left.

Yes, we have Casino Royale and films loosely "inspired" by Fleming at best.

    Thats not entirely true

    Goldeneye was based on Moonraker
Tomorrow never dies was based on the spy who loved me (novel)
The world is not enough is based on for your eyes only (short story)
Die another day is moonraker again
Casino Royale is well casino royale
Quantum of solace is a weird mixture of that short story and live and let die
Skyfall is based on the man with the golden gun
Spectre is based on Octopussy and thunderball
    And
No time to die is an adaptation of You Only Live Twice

    All fleming works and yeah

    QoS is Moonraker again again

    How so

    Fiery climax
    Bond doesn't get the girl

They have been adapting the MR novel for years, just in various guises!

    Miss Fire.

(As the Bond Girl's name. And hopefully not a comment on 007's performance.)
