So I go out to lunch at a local spot. No apparent Bond connection.

And a Vesper Martini appears on the drinks menu.

I actually found something similar near me!
Since I can't figure out how to post images, just scroll to the bottom of the first part of the cocktail menu, before the Zero Proof.

Well that becomes interesting for the mixology @ArapahoeBondFan .
You can right-click on an image and select "copy image link", then post it as message text with the tags [ img ] before, and [ /img ] after, remove spaces within the brackets.

Or the buttons above the message area offer an image function that applies the formatting.

    Your venue.

Which begs response from the first Bond novel.

    Casino Royale, Ian Fleming, 1953.
Chapter 7 - Rouge et Noir
Bond insisted on ordering Leiter's Haig and Haig 'on the rocks' and then he looked carefully at the barman.

'A dry martini,' he said. 'One. In a deep champagne goblet.'

    'Oui, monsieur.'

'Just a moment. Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?'

'Certainly, monsieur.' The barman seemed pleased with the idea.

'Gosh, that's certainly a drink,' said Leiter.

Bond laughed. 'When I'm . . . er . . . concentrating,' he explained, 'I never have more than one drink before dinner. But I do like that one to be large and very strong and very cold and very well made. I hate small portions of anything, particularly when they taste bad. This drink's my own invention. I'm going to patent it when I can think of a good name.'

He watched carefully as the deep glass became frosted with the pale golden drink, slightly aerated by the bruising of the shaker. He reached for it and took a long sip.

'Excellent,' he said to the barman, 'but if you can get a vodka made with grain instead of potatoes, you will find it still better.'

'Mais n'enculons pas des mouches,' he added in an aside to the barman. The barman grinned.

'That's a vulgar way of saying "we won't split hairs",' explained Bond.

Been rewatching Outnumbered on iPlayer and there's a scene in which the dad is making up a series of desperate lies, ending in his having to come up with a nonexistent phone number: "Er, 080...007...1066!"

In issue 3 of the mini-series Metamorpho : The Element Man (on sale at all good comic book store near you), the first page features a few references to Bond (and other spies) in the role call. In order, they are :

    Metamorpho : Goldfinger

Sapphire : The Spy who loved Him

Urania : The Spy who dumped him

Staggsy : The Billion Dollar Brain

Java : The Spy who came in from the Cold

And Vandal Savage : One Spy too many ?

Here's the cover, with a few other references :

I am not sure where this video belongs, but this thread seems like the best fit.

Back in 1977/78, U.S.TV ran this series called That's Hollywood. It showed behind the scenes looks at how movies are made. The show was hosted by Tom Bosley (of Happy Days fame).

This particular episode was titled "The Spy Game." James Bond is at the 10:00 mark. There is some footage here that I have never seen before. Enjoy.
