Seems reasonable. That said I think that James, particularly with the right direction, would make an outstanding Bond. I’m throughly enjoying his performance in The Gentlemen.

Yes, I think so. We've had four or five good final choices that say a lot about what fans really want to see. Choices that go beyond shock factors or any type of agendas, and that are varied as they are sensible. It was a fun game. Suter deserves the audition, if his timing suits EON's bigger picture. I suppose Mi6 could write up a small notice on how an internal forum game showed how much he was appreciated. Or maybe a top5. If not, at least we were able to tone down the vitriol on the next Bond actor thread with this healthy competition between gentlemen fans. Cheers

The result is a given by this point, and folks can bow out now if they prefer, but I've made this very same suggestion a couple of times in the past and gotten destroyed over it, so I'll continue voting until James is inevitably defeated.

    05. Aidan Turner
    06. Sam Claflin

I'd be fine with calling it a day, but while voting goes on, I might as well continue

@Denbigh, but the outcome is certain. So what's the point? :-/

There are more than three pages of posts that consistently push Leo Suter to the lead by a steady 3/1 margin. At this point, someone in the Theo James camp has to stop playing so this resolves itself in a page and a half, or the thug of war will simply continue. I'll do it :D But, for my honor, I still think we should all shake hands :) and give Suter the Mi6 next Bond award ;)

I decided to call it a day last week and am out of this game. Suter is the favorite here.

I just think some are still gonna continue @Univex and the sooner we finish, the more likely we'll be able to do something else with this page concept and maybe play around with alternate names or maybe even alternate eras. Like who would we cast if we were in charge of casting Bond in the 60, 70s, 80s etc.

Yes, that'd be lovely my friend. Nice concepts.

Regardless, I know people suddenly no longer voting isn't gonna make it wrap any quicker.

Having said that, I seem to be the lone holdout now, so if everybody else wants to call it here, that's fine. Moods have definitely changed on this idea in the past few years. I guess the participants have shaken up considerably since that last happened though.
