Uneasy Lies the Head that Wears the Crown. borrowing from WS, this has many connotations.

Also the inspiration for the Columbo episode title Uneasy Lies the Crown (1990) where the pun is that the killer is a dentist.

Uneasy Lies the Crown is a relatively good later Columbo story, that reminds me there was a Columbo story called No Time to Die. I am due a rewatch of the series I may start with the ABC movies first.

Yes, it certainly is. James Read is a good guest star killer, reminiscent of the performances in episodes. I think the reason that the episode is better than most in the Columbo revival is because it was originally written to be an episode in Season 3 in 1973 but it wasn't used at that time. The more elaborate murder scheme fits in nicely with the earlier NBC episodes.

James Read is a good actor he appeared in Star Trek Voyager a couple of times as well as many high profile 80's and 90's shows. I never knew the script was taken from the NBC era, the quality then makes a lot of sense.

He was in the entire first season of Remington Steele. Seems his celebrity got eclipsed.

True, other than the odd episode not watched Remington Steele all the way through since it originally aired.

James Read was definitely one of the better actors who guest starred as the killer in the ABC Columbo episodes. It was probably his role in Remington Steele that got him the guest star role on Columbo.

    The Dying of the Light.

That reminds me of this excellent scene from Interstellar...

Interstellar - Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night

Dylan Thomas. Still sends shivers down my spine, very powerful.

'Rage rage against the dying of the light'.

    The full poem is heavy.

With Sea Of Fire (Based on John Gardner title Seafire) as title i lik to suggest now Role of Honour. I have seen Dutch version of Gardner novel named Zaak van Eer (Case of Honour) and then discover Role of Honour be original title. Like i did with Seafire i read litle bit about some plot elements.

Mr White in QOS about Vesper: The real shame is that if she hadn't killed herself, we would have had you, too. In Role of Honour a conflict with Mi6 turn Bond be avaible to be hired, the secret be hide in word ''conflict''. Conflict of words and proud as in novel is something that we used too but there should bring it next level with conflict on background story of Daniel Craig era as there drive. Greene in QOS:
This is the world's most precious resource, we need to control as much of it as we can.

This story include Spectre, but like i said with SeaFire story should focus on individual villian who get group behind him. More Quantum then Spectre.

Indeed. Or they could just call it Dragonpol. Of course I'd expect a cut of the worldwide gross.

Quite agreed ! Much better than my proposal: The Next One (meant to be a joke, blandly describing rather than titling the next film, and then I remembered the reference in GE, which was unintentional -- it shows that after a large number of films, unintentional references can arise all over the place)

I like the idea of caviar, but I think it works better for a chapter:

    Caviar for Breakfast

(after a night of gambling, and the rising sun breaking its way across the sky, Bond retires to his hotel room where he finds a complimentary order of caviar and champagne... And an assassin hiding in a closet, waiting to pounce...)
