Actually, the next Bond will be about a group of janitors that have infiltrated Bond's life from an early start, an evil organisation much worse than SP, THE JANITORS! They have been monitoring Bond's every move since 1962. They have people everywhere. Hotel lobbies, restaurants, museums, you name it. They pulled the true strings on Bond's life, even manipulating his foster brother into becoming brofeld. They've been behind it all forever. Actually, there are some who believe they coerced Fleming himself in 1955 to write the damn thing. And if you think EON doesn't actually mean Enterprise Of Nattiness, you know nothing. These folks know it all. They even know who's the next Bond, way before Babs knows. They'll tell her, with hypnosis, using the mop's constant movement. Old methods. I tell ya. All true. Why do the illuminati call themselves that? Because they're clean. Squeaky clean.
Bond fans can also take heart that a new film is very much on the cards. “Looking forward, the directors anticipate the group to display continued growth and profitability whilst concentrating on the development of its next film towards its production,” the report states.
To point out... EoN does make films other than Bond. But I hope they do mean the next 007 film.
That’s how Variety interprets those words. EoN are, no doubt intentionally, more carefully worded. But I sure hope it is Bond.
Considering how EON’s other films bombed, and Daniel Craig isn’t around calling the shots, I don’t think there’s much to worry about.

I kind of wish they would get some other films up and running which did well. But maybe the directors are more winding up now.
How can we assume that? Apart from being liked in Bridgerton and having his fanbase, there's no reason to believe he's even in the running.
He's the new Ben Affleck, for me. In the sense that I feel exactly like you describe when they "act". That being said, he's not the only mentioned contender that, if chosen, would push me away from the films completely. I would never watch a Bond film with Sopé Dírìsu, for example. Or John Boyega, Robert Pattison, Henry Golding, ... Many of the so called candidates would turn me off, for many different reasons. I would make the effort for some, I truly would. Others, nop, not a bit.
Watching him get angry in The Gray Man was laughable, him as Bond would be terrible, I'd hope he isn't under consideration
Is he also going to star in a horrible movie with Jennifer Lopez?

I for one would not accept him as Bond, and I doubt many others would too. He would be a terrible choice.
