RIP Clarence Glyard, forever remembered as Theo in Die Hard
Gone too soon, like so many of his co-stars.

The word legend is thrown around too freely these days (IMO), but she defined that term.

I remember when she was Perfect... (The Legendary Christine Perfect, to be precise.) One of the greatest Rock & Roll Women of all time...

Fleetwood Macs' RUMOURS album was THE soundtrack to my sophomore year in high school. And anytime I listen to "You Make Lovin Fun", "Don't Stop" or "Dreams" it really takes me back to those times - both the good and the bad.

I still have "Rumours" as an LP which I must have bought around 1980, though I haven't listened to that one for a long time since I bought it on CD as well as soon as I got a CD player (in 1986). But on either medium, it is just a fantastic album. RIP Christine McVie.

Learned today that french actress Mylène Demongeot has passed away, aged 87. In the 60s, she was considered as one of Brigitte Bardot's biggest rivals, appearing in movies like the Fantômas series with Jean Marais and Louis de Funes, and one of the best adaptations of The Three Musketeers with Gérard Barray. But she hadn't stopped filming movies and TV shows over 70 years of career.

  • I held off for a few days -- basically to see if anybody besides me would notice -- but nobody has so here we are: Aline Kominsky-Crumb passed away a few days back -- while we were all mourning Christine McVie. Aline was Robert Crumb's wife, his muse for the last 50 or so years, and an underground cartoonist of note in her own right. RIP Aline and condolences to R. Crumb.

I've always loved Crumb's work but had no clue she had passed away. That's very unfortunate to hear.

    R. I. P. Kirsty Alley, as a young lad I had a major crush on her after watching The Wrath of Khan. Very sad news Kirsty was great also in Cheers and Runaway Directed by Michael Crichton.

I am not sure yet that this has been confirmed, but it would seem that Angelo Badalamenti has died. If so, RIP. Twin Peaks owed him a lot.

Brilliant composer I have a lot of his work, what he did with Twin Peaks and Fire Walk with Me was genius. His collaborations with Lynch were comparable to Hitchcock and Bernard Hermann.

The unmistakable haunting sound of the great Angelo Badalamenti, R. I. P.

This theme still gives me chills...
