Eventually Solitaire decided that there was real money to be made in franchising and started to sell “psychic” powers on television. “Miss Cleo” proved to be her star pupil.

Solitaire enjoyed Bond's lessons so much, that she figured that's where her true powers lay. She became a high class escort, saught after by the rich and famous who'd often put tens of thousands of dollars down for the night. They often asked her in marriage as well, but she refused. She was simply having too much fun. Within ten years she'd made enough money to retire. she started her realestate company in India, where she became extremely succesfull. People often wondered why she always managed to buy offices at the right time, just before the area where she bought became booming.

WhatEVER happened, I get the feeling - rather like in Fleming books referencing relationships from the previous adventure - that she stayed with Bond a while in London. In the films, Bond moved on as of the next film - TMWTGG - but some time may have passed, and they were a couple for a while.

I've heard she moved to Colorado, and was adopted in a Cheyenne tribe. My sources revealed to me that she became a kind of medicine woman. But my sources are not really reliable. After all, they also told me that she inspired a song by Neil Sedaka. Although, given the year the song hit the charts, that might be true.

After Bond left her for the mission, Solitaire moved on to another state in the US, but when she visited New York, she crossed paths with Baron Samedi again (he's still alive at the end of the film), but Baron Samedi asked her for help since he's nowhere to go, and didn't know where to run to either.

Solitaire decided to put up a business with Baron Samedi as helper, they went back to San Monique and get all of Kananga's wealth (money, gold and etc.), And they put up a Voodoo circus in New Orleans, where the main show starred Baron Samedi, so he could still continue his job, then Solitaire as the owner of that voodoo circus.

Actually, she'd invited Bond to come to the opening of the circus, but he rejected when he knew that Baron Samedi was also a part of the show.

She became a successful owner of the circus, that she built several branches in different parts of US.

After that, she'd also decided to became the new President of the San Monique and opened the island to tourists, business investors and etc.

Solitaire asked Baron Samedi to help her in managing the island but Baron Samedi didn't want to go back to San Monique as he wants to move on to a new life with his newlywed wife (B.J Arnau, the Cabaret Singer at the Fillet and Soul singing Live And Let Die), so Solitaire handled the island by herself.

Great job folks! I love the creativity and humour on display of this thread. Weather woman seems like it might be up her alley. "I see snow, it brings high winds and white-outs." LOL!

An escort you say? My my my, James taught her well. LOL!

I always preferred this version of Solitaire!

Maybe Solitaire and the King had a passionate love affair, and this song was a tribute to that love!

    LOL!

    @thedove just my suggestions,

But what do you think happened to the nieces of Lt. Hip in TMWTGG, those two girls who'd fought alongside Bond using Karate?

Or what happened to Martine Blanchaud (The Log Cabin Girl) from TSWLM?
The two young ladies taught their uncle how to hold his law enforcement ID up for others to see without those others laughing at him. They took over or started their own martial arts school. After all, they were quite good at it from a very young age. It was that or open another AMC dealership and they saw, as sung about later, the writing on the wall.

The log cabin lady, even when she'd met up with Bond, already was independently and wildly wealthy, from the sale of pancake and waffle syrup - the log cabin brand. She went on having adventures and fun.

Now - what of the airplane passenger attendant who advised Bond that, were his hand to wander any further upward, her ears would pop ? Did her parachute not open and then SHE went "pop" ? Nah...she knew that dive-bomb-your-body stuff to go hook up with another parachuter and land safely. Later, after being paid her last check by the villain, she met up with Bond. No hard feelings, after all, except, well, then there were hard feelings...

Hey, wait...who's changing the topic on this thread? Not that I mind elaborating on Lt. Hip's nieces, but what happened to Solitaire? This should find a sort of conclusion. Or did I miss something? The "King", by the way, was identified as an alien in the Men in Black Movies. Who isn't dead, but just went home.

She took to gambling and went to Casino Royale, but was called a cheater and kicked out when she kept winning every single game.

My dear un-co=operative @MI6HQ is changing the thread topic! LOL! I can put them both up for the full treatment soon. Thanks for the suggestions!

I used to change these really fast but found some were upset that there wasn't longer time. Now I wait, wait until the winner is so tired and then like SPEC TRE I strike! LOL!

Loved the creative suggestions for Solitaire! Let's move ahead to 1974. Bond finds himself at school and is rescued by two nieces of Lt. Hip. The two young ladies are seen a couple of times, but their most memorable encounter is when they unleash their kung-fu skills on the goons of Hai Fat. Last seen driving away from Bond giggling and laughing all the while, our good friend, and contributor @MI6HQ asked us to consider, whatever happened to Lt. Hip's nieces?

Hip's nieces were the town bullies and would continue to threaten to beat up anyone who didn't show their ID cards upside-down.

That guy should at least wear an FFP2/KN95 mask.

Other than that: I can see his nieces growing up to establish mixed martial arts studios in most parts of the world. Maybe they did.

Interesting to hear what happened to those nieces of Lt. Hip.

Let's move on to another lovely lady. She was great at delivering bad news " black attaché case damaged when examined." She was comfortable in gold attire and was the proper flight attendant for someone of Auric Goldfinger's stature. Yes, we are talking about Mei-Lei. Last seen on a flight from Switzerland to Kentucky. She shook the martini with aplomb but wasn't as adept at keeping an eye on double-o-7.

Whatever happened to her? Did she stay in the airline industry? Move on to a new pursuit? Did she keep wearing gold clothes? Lots of questions that we need our creative crew to answer.

So Mi6 members...whatever happened to Mei-Lei from Goldfinger?

She stayed in the airline industry, and maybe with still her loyalty to Pussy Galore, she'd remained as one of her assistants.

When Pussy Galore continued operating her Flying Circus, she's one of them, her assistant.

She also worked with her when Pussy Galore took over Goldfinger's house and farm as the new owner.

Actually, Pussy Galore and The Flying Circus performed an aerial ceremony at the birthday of the First Lady and Mei-Lei was one of them.

She's also married to a former Asian-American soldier and have three kids, she and her family lived in Los Angeles, but recently, she'd died at the age of 90.

Mei-Lei? Taking on an innocuous nom de plume and cleverly creating the name of the main character, she used her surveillance experiences to become a writer of spy thrillers.

In fact, Mei Lei was an agent for Red China. After the Goldfinger affair, her next assignment was to infiltrate the japanese secret service and get as close as possible to its chief, Tiger Tanaka. However, that plan was (again) foiled by Bond, who recognized her among the ladies who gave him and Tiger a bath. Later on, she was seen as a stewardess for the chinese national airline, a pefect cover for a spy.

When Max Zorin advertised for staff for his airship. both Mei Lei and May Day showed up, and the jelousy between them led to a big melee. Mei Lei was laid to rest while May Day was the champion of the day.

May you write many more a humorous posting. Did May Day really kill Mei Lei ? That was the rumor back in the Day, but, you know, maybe, maybe not. Maybe May Day and Mei Lei became romantically involved with each other. They got married in Hawaii. May lei-ed Mei during the ceremony, and Mei lei-ed May. Then, later, they laid together and OK I will stop now....

May Day seemed more attached to "Jennnnnyy" Flex than Mei Lei. But I suppose one never knows about the mysterious and deadly May Day. I heard she went out with a bang. LOL!

Wai Lin's evil twin Mei-Lei perpetrated mischief and kicked butt in Michael G. Wilson's follow-up to TND: BTM.
