Do you mean the Jonathan Cape first edition covers or the Pan first paperback printing covers?
Fantastic covers. The original hardback cover is my favourite of all the 1950s Fleming originals by far. I also love the Penguin classics one (bottom right) and I also have a soft spot for the Triad Panther 1982 gun-and-girl cover, as that was the first copy I owned.

It goes without saying how beautiful the original HBs are. I know that some fans think the Triad/Granada/Panther books of the late 70's and early 80's are on the gaudy side, but I don't agree with that. The Penguin Classics ones are nice too, I agree.
Yes, they did. They were reprinted by Cape in quite a few editions though after a while some of the covers changed. In the 1980s there was also a facsimile set made of all the Cape Fleming Bond novels that is worth a fair penny today in complete form.
Were they not reprinted in those original covers more recently? For some reason, I keep thinking around 2008. Around the time of the Ian Fleming centenary.

Oh, yes. I remember those now. I must have been thinking of them, and not the original Jonathan Cape/Richard Chopping editions.
Yes, I suppose that IFP wanted to commission something new and fresh for the 2008 Fleming Centenary. Still, I tend to prefer the older cover artwork, especially the Cape first editions and the classic 50s and 60s Pan paperback covers too. It may be psychological as the 60s Pan editions were the first ones I found in the mid-1990s when I was starting my Bond collection. That said, they are very beautiful and iconic covers too and that does no harm either.
Finally it showed up yesterday. I'm glad I gave it another week before asking for a refund. My Penguin edition Fleming collection is now complete.
So now I have a complete set of US Penguin editions Casino Royale through Octopussy and The Living Daylights, followed by The Blofeld Trilogy, the hardcovers of Carte Blanche, Solo, and Forever and a Day.
Eventually I want to get Colonel Sun through the Benson novels, but I am unsure of which editions to get. I'll have to research it a bit.
I also need to get Devil May Care, Trigger Mortis, and Horowitz #3 when it comes out.
I wouldn't mind a copy of the Blofeld Trilogy, and Carte Blanche in hardcover. Sounds like you have a great collection!

Is that just if you use the Facebook sign-in app for MI6 Community? I used to use the Twitter sign-in app for the forum until I encountered problems with it and eventually got my account switched to just the ordinary forum sign-in option.
No, I use the regular sign-in for this forum. I just can post photos easily to Facebook from a computer or phone, viewable only to myself, and then on a computer I can get the URL link to that image and share it here.
Ah, I see. Thanks for that, @NickTwentyTwo. I'll have to try that some time. It's one way to get around the difficulty of uploading personal photos here.
