    Deadline for GW22 1900 tonight

I am in a quandary my bench is very strong this GW, I would happily play any of 14 players.

No transfers for me this GW, so I'll have 2 free transfers for GW #23.

    For this weekend:

    Ryan
    Soyuncu, Chilwell, Lundstram
    Salah, De Bruyne, Traoré, Martial
    Jimenez, Vardy (C), Abraham.

No transfers for me either though I have one player I may bring in though its really a one week deal player which I can't really justify (my team subject to change) ...

    Ryan
    Gomez, TAA, Lord Lundstram
    Traoré, Salah (C), KDB, Martial
    Vardy (V), Rashford, Abraham

    Bench
    Button, Söyüncü, Cantwell, Kelly

I have a feeling Southampton may get something against Leicester.

    ---

Harry Kane out injured until April (on the upside at least he should be fresh for England in the Euros)

The complete opposite from my bench that! :))

Just as @DaltonCraig007, your team looks great for this gameweek too, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns!

I've done one transfer so far this gameweek. I could save the second one, but I really want to find a replacement for Alli. As things stand, this is my team for this gameweek:

    Foster
    Alexander-Arnold - Söyüncü - Lundstram
Alli - Mané - De Bruyne - Grealish
    Jiménez - Rashford - Vardy (C)
    (McGovern - Saka - Kelly - Rico)

I ended up sticking with same team as slept past the deadline, so two transfers banked for the first time in several weeks, it's likely I will sell Rashford to improve my midfield after the weekend games.

Fabianski off injured for West Ham to any owners he was limping.

Not much happening in Sheffield United v West Ham stalemate, I will take a Lundstram clean sheet now.

That's my likely transfer for next gameweek as well. Still thinking about who to bring in though.

1-0, McBurnie (Fleck assist). Hoping for a Lundstram cleanie as well!

Sheffield United are like George Graham's Arsenal, very reliable at the back. I reluctantly sold Baldock though needed the Liverpool defensive double up and having four defenders from only two teams I felt was a risk.

I'm too young to actually remember Graham's Arsenal (I have Wenger to thanks for being an Arsenal fan), but I've sometimes wondered what Graham would do with that Arsenal defence.

I think the Liverpool defensive double-up will make up for those Baldock points over the next few games. And you can always bring him back eventually, for example if you need funds!

I certainly hope they'll do – both for FPL and non-FPL reasons! :-D

Lol I can understand that, I would normally want Liverpool to lose though I am well past that now as the league is there's and I can detach myself from loathing them when playing FPL.

Reports are Man United are in ongoing talks to sign Bruno Fernández, Bruno would be a good FPL asset he is prolific with goals and assists. Though we were linked with him in the sumner so until he has the shirt on I will take it with a pinch of salt.

The beauty of FPL is that you can enjoy a team you don't support do well. Not too well of course, but at least providing the points needed. That Sheffield United win wasn't good for Arsenal for example, but at least I could enjoy the Lundstram points.

Shame that West Ham goal got disallowed. Lundstram was already subbed by then.

Isn't he one of those that's always linked with United? Maybe it'll finally happen now.

Apparently Sporting Lisbon really need the money, hope we get him he is good and we are desperate for a creative number 10. We have also be linked with Jiminez and Neves though I doubt those two will happen in January.

Would imagine Wolves would want to keep those two away from other clubs – at least mid-season. I guess with Sporting Lisbon needing money, that will make negotiations easier to get through for United. Sporting must raise funds somehow.

The risk of course is that Fernández might be wanted by other clubs as well(?)

At least with United he would be first name on the team sheet, though if someone like Liverpool or Real Madrid came in it would be tough for United in there current state.

Certainly. But for Liverpool at least, they might have enough options.

Arsenal back in the relegation scrap soon. They don't score goals without him, and they can't defend, so…

Söyüncü was certainly the best choice from them, I expected Arsenal to score today.

I don't know. Lacazette isn't in goalscoring form these days, so I'm not counting on it. Could be a chance for Martinelli to get a few games, but given the opposition, I'm not expecting Arsenal to get anything from the games Aubameyang misses.

Did Pope > Foster earlier this week. Hoping it will pay off.

    Rashford scored, Mata assist

    Jorginho goal, Willian assist

Came close to transferring out Rashford despite the fixture (in order to bring in Salah).

When I looked at Rashford stats I was surprised I am reluctant to sell now.

Abraham goal get in a bit of a differential for me
