    I’m not enamoured of her either, but she was in big tv shows like Euphoria and The White Lotus. She is a rising star that seems to appeal to the younger demographic. It’s possible that Amazon might prize name recognition to the Gen Z demo over anything else.

    Sweeney is such a generic choice for the Bond girl. Just like casting Zendaya or Florence Pugh. These are actors you already see everywhere. I hope Villeneuve and the casting director's choices are a bit more adventurous like BR2049 -- Ana de Armas, Mackenzie Davis and Sylvia Hoeks were scene stealers in their respective roles and they weren't huge stars at that moment.

    I absolutely don't get the appeal to Sidney Sweeney, haven't seen a more boring and, tbh, plain old unatractive girl get so much praise in years. She ticks the 'beautiful' boxes as much as any AI girl does. She has nothing and is as un-Fleming-esque as possible.
