skyfall gun barrel concept

Pay no attention to the exact shots or music it was just the general idea of getting the gun barrel back where it belongs.

    Good job, quite well done and proof that it would work at the start. Although I would've used this gunbarrel instead of the actual SF one (which I didn't like at all):

    Nice work, although having that establishing shot of Istanbul would take away from the scene where Bond exits the building and walks out onto the street with the music build up. That scene is supposed to introduce us to the location. Personally I don't see a way anyone could include the gun barrel at the start without something seeming off.

    I disagree that an opening gun barrel would have upset the establishing shots of the last 3 films. Jumping into the films, sans gun barrel, just don't feel like Bond to me.

    I loved the start of casino royale (bond becoming bond) could not have been better, however its just stupid to leave the gun barrel sequence out from the beginning of qos and skyfall. I like how thelivingroyale showed us that, although i honestly don't hate the craig gun barrels, they could be better (the blood could be a lot better) but they aren't terrible. In skyfall, honestly think about it, how valuable really is that whole establishing the location scene, not more valuable than the gunbarrel is in my opinion.

    Thats just Sam Mendes excuse, he obvisously didn't like a gunbarrel but didn't want hurt feelings. Bond moves like a ape, can see his gun before he shoots, brown blood, leather gunbarrel etc.
