    Looking forward to it. The background material is still thin, so it will be interesting to see where Spectre eventually lands.

    @Thunderfinger I only count 15 rankings (I haven't included whatculture's list which probably explains the difference).

    We almost got a streak of 24th for DAD until 4 members placed it higher. It's highest is now 22nd for now :P

    The median ranks are actually not that different from the 2012-2015 ranking list, mostly only 1-2 places off, so this will be a good preliminary idea of where Spectre will fit it.

    I haven't read any reviews in depth (ie no spoilers), only the general gist of things, but I get the impression that anyone going in with the expectation of a deep emotional story will be very disappointed, and that SP is a back to the formula affair.

    Not long now until I find out for myself.

    I recounted and got sixteen total, not counting MayDay twice of course. But good catch with walther PPk and his erroneous list, that must be dismissed for now. Is that it?

    Straight up, from the gut, the morning after seeing it for the first time. Oddly enough, typically Bond movies that have the "new car smell" move down my list over time, but with this I think repeat viewings might actually help. Time will tell. Will see it again this weekend.

    But I meant "classic" as in quality, which I think it lacks, and thus don't equate quality with commercial success. I don't think there is anything nearly as classic in Thunderball as its predecessors.

    Well, I find it overrated too. I mean, the repetitive island settings and endless underwater sequences get tedious after a while.

    Hello everyone! First time poster here. Due to Spectre been released here in the UK on the 26th of October I've seen it multiple times.     I feel bad for those disappointed by Spectre. It's just like those who liked it and those who didn't watched a totally different movie somehow.

    I think I understand the people disappointed by SP. Those of us who like it are judging on a different grid than we judged the other Craig films. You have to…it's a crazy story.

    Hopefully, SP doesn't become DAD overnight. In all fairness, there's room for error. I had the thing at #2 after first seeing it. Not going to bother ranking again until I own it and watch all the others as well.

    It's not a bad idea and I will probably follow your lead. My second view won't come for at least a week and that will be one time more than I go to the theater for any picture. The premiere I went to was empty, it felt like a private screening. I plan on going back with a group.

    It's hard to really bury Spectre in the rankings in my opinion. It has enough good things going for it to spare it from bottom dweller status.

    I have a sneaking suspicion that SP will end up somewhere in the middle pack of my rankings. Fascinated to see what I will think on the second viewing.

    First post here but I have been lurking for the past decade, and I haven't yet seen all of the Bond movies. I weren't a fan of Skyfall, and love Quantum of Solace dearly, while I have seen Spectre twice in the cinema. My list is by no means final, as they'll probably move around on repeat viewings, and the number in parentheses are how many times I have seen each movie.

    I haven't seen The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill and The World Is Not Enough yet. Thinking about it, I might have seen The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker but I simply don't remember.

    I have a feeling Spectre will go down on my list. I wasn't as enjoyable the second time around, and I see more of its flaws the more I discuss it. Though, I still enjoyed it.

    I hear this a lot about Domino. Yeah, she's pretty, but what else can you say about her? Auger's performance is bland, the character is bland and she conveys as much emotion as a brick wall when she's told her brother is dead.

    Same with Largo, just not the pretty part ;) He maintains the same monotonous voice throughtout the film.

    Connery is good, but nowhere near is he at the heights as he was from DN-GF. Not the same intensity, not as in interested.

    Fair pint on Domino...not the best performance. Disagree with regards to Largo though...A truly sinister and charismatic villain. I don't see any change in Connery....He seems even more self assured and suave than ever.

    Not a bad list. For my taste you overate TND and Brosnan and under rate DN and Daniel Craig. Liking the TB love though.
