I think @Mendes4Lyfe can answer for himself surely.

Just the primary school teacher vibe in your chastisement. Am I right? Do I win a prize?

What does that have to do with being a primary school teacher

I think we're bogging this thread down, so I'll make this my last post on this thread today.
So, when you said . .

I sarcastically asked you if you were a primary school teacher, because the way you told me off was how I'd expect a primary school teacher to talk to their kids.
    Okay?
I hope I explained that correctly.

Why are you doing this @ColonelAdamski ?? This brutal negativity, destruction of respectful dialogue. Just bringing the fire, right?

What are your expectations? What do you want? Just to have a virtual fight?? Why not join your local gym? Buy some gloves? Get a coach? Learn to spar. It’s healthier— for body AND mind.

This other stuff is amateur clown hour.

You seem to like CR54 quite lot. Just out of curiosity, what do you like so much about it?

I quite like it too! First time I saw it many years ago, I was bit underwhelmed, but with subsequent viewings ( It was an extra on the re-release of CR '67, so I watch it regularly!) it is very enjoyable. Barry Nelson comes across more as Felix Leiter than 007, but the rest of the cast are excellent ( How wonderful it would have been to have Peter Lorre in the EON series!) and like QOS, its short and sweet! I wouldn't put it on a par of OHMSS, like my mate @ToTheRight does, but its an entertaining watch, and fairly faithful to Fleming!

I love it's noir vibe, I think Peter Lorre is an amazing Le Chiffre, I love the torture scene, and Michael Pate as Leiter. I like Barry Nelson's style, and this version a pretty tight adaptaion of the novel (which is my favorite Fleming book).

Somewhere I read the original broadcast was in color and the black and white kinescope version is the only one in existence. I'd love to see what this looked like in color.

It's nice to hear it has its fans. I agree Peter Lorre is a great Le Chiffre. I actually picture him in the part when I read the novel.

Cant argue with that top 3, as it matches my own ( in a different order!)
Can also understand your last placing, I still struggle big time with that movie!
