Rank the titles (yes, the TITLES!)

Don't think it's been done - mods, please point me in the right direction if so.

Here is where we rank the titles.
I think we all agree Fleming was the real maestro at this, and that nobody at Eon has measured up since.

5 BEST TITLES
1) Thunderball (simple, unusual, has real power, best one-word title)
2) You Only Live Twice (best use of the live/die keywords that Bond titles get made fun of for!, very dramatic)
3) Diamonds Are Forever (delicious camp, would never get used today, but is perfect Bond - love it!)
4) Moonraker (another unusual one-word title - what is a moonraker?)
5) From Russia With Love (not my favourite movie, but very evocative title, romance, and again UNUSUAL)

5 WORST TITLES
1) Tomorrow Never Dies (literally meaningless, trash, a parody)
2) Die Another Day (zzzz give me a break Eon)
3) Skyfall (nice attempt at one-word title, but they forgot to make any component interesting - sky and fall as keywords? Snooze)
4)GoldenEye (great movie, bad title - smells like a Goldfinger ripoff)
5) Casino Royale (yes that's right, I worship Fleming but this is too generic for him, he was just finding his way as an artist)

Best non-Fleming title is The World is Not Enough.
The film is a snooze but the title is very good!
They should have used it for GoldenEye (very appropriate to Trevelyan or even Carver)

Sounds mighty familiar, but OK if you insist

    Best titles

From Russia With Love, Casino Royale (how could you trash that), Live and Let Die, On Her Majestys Secret Service, For Your Eyes Only, The World Is Not Enough

    Worst Titles

Diamonds are Forever (as with the release itself), A View to a Kill, Die Another Day, Quantum of Solace

PS Moonraker of course was the name of Hugo Drax' shuttle fleet, but it's literary meaning is from a nautical term. One of the upper rigging of a boats sails. Hope that helped you out

I think Live And Let Die is probably the best. Worst has to be Quantum of Solace.

I'll edit this and do a full list later on.
