Is there any way Le Chiffre could come back?

OK, spoiler alert...............................................................Le Chiffre gets shot. lol

BUT, I love Mads Mikkelson I would have loved to see him in another Bond movie - and felt that same sense of deflation when Le Chiffre was shot, as when Bane was suddenly blasted by a shotgun.

Is there anyway Le Chiffre could come back?
Could Le Chiffre suddenly appear having survived the gunshot to the head?

Seriously? There is a thread on this? #-o

Maybe Bond could get a sex change operation next?

No, LeChiffre won't return, because he can't return..

There will be no surprise Jaws return as we saw in 1979 as we know Kiel survived the last film and swam off into the sunset but I'm thinking a gunshot wound to the head would be pretty conclusive ?

Before we say Trevelyan in Goldeneye, that was different circumstances altogether. I don't think White was being quite so benevolent with his firearm..

I mean in all honestly, I seriously would doubt it. Interesting point though, I mean I for one have always thought to myself which Bond villains might have survived after what we were shown on-screen. Take Tee Hee for example: the last of him that we see is Roger throwing him out of the train through the window. That's it. Not a mangled body, no evident death on camera. Also, Jaws was thrown from a train in TSWLM and lived with no injury, so we can conclude that perhaps Tee Hee was tough enough to survive the incident. In fact, it's quite possible. In the case of Le Chiffre, however, there's really no denying his death. The bullet went straight through the forehead, and we saw that, including his blank stare of death as his head hit the floor. It'd be neat, but unfortunately, it's not going to happen!

Unless his hobby is resurrection, ;) then no. I think what we got from him in CR is adequate, however, I would have liked to have seen Quantum or some other organization use him and his skills as a banker/card player to help them carry out their evil schemes in future films.

Mads has an option to come back for Bond 25. He'll be returning as s flashback. You're all just going to have to trust and believe me because...I just know.

    Definitely.
but I'm thinking a gunshot wound to the head would be pretty conclusive ?
Now let´s not judge things too prematurely. Supposing Mr White´s firearm was a very small claiber for some reason, so that the bullet didn´t go much beyond the skull bone. It´s said that the frontal lobe of the brain has to do with personality. So this wasn´t meant to kill Le Chiffre, but to punish him. He will return with a little loss of his mental capacities and a slight alteration of his personality, some kind of zombie on a leash. Now all we have to do is find a way to make it not look like a Resident Evil film ;-).

Whenever I see a thread or a question like this, I ask 'what would that bring to the franchise?' The answer is: absolutely nothing.

Have you read the book Casino Royale, or just seen the film?

I think you are being polite. The OP is being exceedingly optimistic or has been sniffing the creosote.

Can posters run things through their heads twice before posting please?
