    Here are the clues explained...

    1. I do my best to defuse a tense situation.
    Self explanatory.
    2. Twelve angry men? or maybe just eight.
    Each delegation in this tense meeting has 4 members, but only the Americans and Soviets seem to be at each others' throats.
    3. I can be described as a cross between Lionel Mandrake and Merkin Muffley
    A reference to Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove. The secretary is British like Mandrake, but also acts as a peace broker akin to Muffley (Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the War Room!)
    4. Brrrr...
    I read somewhere the meeting is supposed to take place in Iceland, but I don't know for sure.
    5. Not everyONE agrees with my theory.
    The American president (who uses Air Force One to travel) dismisses the Japan theory suggested by the British.
