Thanks for the shout! If I can come up with something fun in the next 24 hours (and no one else has taken it), I’ll post.

Any takers? I don't want to jump in again, as I've recently already done so and I don't think my rate of success certifies another 'free' run...

OK I have something suitably evil lined up, so let's do this.

    1. Good and bad things happen in my place, but apparently I'm totally oblivious.

    2. This location is far from ideal - enough to drive you wild!

I'll start the guesses with Willard Whyte. Thanks for jumping in @Tokoloshe2!

Holy cow. Yes indeed I was intending my round of Dr Wayne (or Wain) to last for several days of mind-bending frustration for you all... but alas @R1s1ngs0n had other ideas.

"Bravo!" he says, through mildly gritted teeth ;)

Well, the "drive you wild" (or rather "mad") instantly made me think of Pat complaining about the airplane noise but "oblivious" pointed me in the right direction :)
Didn't remember the Doc's name so looked it up in the script and it said Wain.
    Good character, nonetheless.
Give me a few hours to come up with a new character, unless someone else wants to jump in.

Here we go; named Eon character.

    1. I prefer to avoid confrontations... and yet it backfires on me.
    2. Great riches are to be found in my vicinity.

    Incorrect
    Dr. Tynan
    Lazar

Off the bat, that’s an excellent guess.
    Not Dr. Tynan, though.

    Thanks @Birdleson
I added a new clue and updated the first one as I feel it was slightly misleading.

Had to look up this character as the name didn’t ring a bell... hardly surprising, considering the movie in which he appears 😅

The gas station clerk in DAF?

Excellent @CommanderRoss it is indeed the poor gas station attendant, otherwise dubbed 'Curly' by the very loud Ms. Case.

    1. I prefer to avoid confrontations... not that it does me any good.
Tiffany leaves poor Curly hanging despite him caving in to her demands.
    2. Great riches are to be found in my vicinity.
The diamonds located in the van driven by Professor Dr. Metz.
    3. There are five of us but only two know what’s transpiring... and I’m not one of them.
While Tiffany creates a scene, Bond takes advantage and sneaks into Metz's van undetected by either Curly, Metz and most amazingly, the guy in the car just behind him.
    4. I’m a decent person and yet I’m treated like sh*t by one of the protagonists, whereas an antagonist treats me with respect.
Saxby politely asks Curly "fill it up, please" whereas Tiffany's obnoxious and rude to him.

    Over to you.

Oh wow! Thank you, I'll put my thinking cap on and come up with a new one later tonight. And thanks @R1s1ngs0n for another great round!

Ok, let's get this one rolling.
Speaking EON character and hasn't been played yet.

    1. My working place may be even more famous than those I serve
    2. I start in a different language, but nobody seems to care
    3. I make sure I remember
    4. Is it in bad taste? Well, somebody thinks so but I don’t react
    5. I’m dressed up for the occasion
    6. We’re certainly moving forward
    7. I take my time the second time they call me

    incorrect guesses
André, the croupier at Le Cercle (DN)

@R1s1ngs0n according to his name tag, the gas station attendant is name Dave. I eventually guessed him when pachazo played him. Great character.

Good to know, I never even noticed his name tag and it's only much later that I realized the Curly moniker was a reference to the three Stooges.
