    Ahhh finally! It was the something from the past clue that made me think of Smiert Spionam and Pushkin's reaction to hearing that phrase.

    I’m happy to have a go - mostly because my chances of actually guessing correctly are extremely slim so it could well be my only chance of forum fame! 😝 The upside would be I doubt I can come up with anything too cryptic so my round will be over very quickly! Of course I will try my best however!

    Blimey, the responsibility ... my feathers are a-fluster.

    Well it’s been a long day (UK time here) but I don’t want to keep everyone waiting so here’s a quick clue to start with, I’ll endeavour to put mor effort into future clues.

    Clue 1: Some people love their single malts, but single digits are my passion.
