    I think you may have it but can you give a bit more detail as to exactly which character. I am going to give @Creasy47 first shot at getting this right. I am unsure if this is the fairest way to proceed but it's all I can think of.

    @Birdleson has it (technically). The answer I was looking for was Sanchez's driver, who does indeed bail out of the tanker at the end. If you remember they started off in a car from the drugs lab.

    A shame the game ended that way; after Creasy's guess I couldn't think what else to do, since I thought he had it. That is the peril of an unnamed character I suppose.
