@RogueAgent - my wife has accepted the fact that she's married a geek. She's cool. She actually quite likes Bond. Not as much as I do - but she wanted to go and see Spectre when that came out.

@NS_writings - that guitar in your collection is INSANELY cool!

She is a keeper like mine then! :))

@RogueAgent yeah. We're a good team the wife and I. I'm the one with my head in the clouds, she's the one with her feet on the ground. She doesn't really dig the stuff I'm into at all - but she 100% indulges me to spend my spare time in a Bond dream world.

And she does take the occasional passing interest in something Bond related.

Have to say my wife is incredible, to the extent of having my own Bond room. Although I did foot the cost of it! :))

Well luckily for her I'm not a big memorabilia collector - but she does have to live with heaving bookshelves and walls covered in posters!

Glad you liked it. That was the gift of a friend, but I browsed it and apparently he got it from here: https://rockguitarminiatures.com/products/james-bond-miniature-guitar-rgm258/

Everything GoldenEye related. I make that extensive to the Brosnan flicks.

@Max_The_Parrot - you'd LOVE mine! I've got every book by every author ever published and I've read them all too. Fleming, Gardner, Benson, Higson and the rest.

Got a few nice coffee table books too.

@BondStu Oh that sounds great!! Love to see some photos if you’re ever in the mood! Which coffee table books have you got? I did splash out on the James Bond Archives a few years back, but that’s SO big my coffee table couldn’t handle it, but when I’ve built up enough energy I do like to drag it out and flick through it.

I’m not a big Bond fiction reader - I’m ashamed to say I’ve only read Casino Royale, Live and Let Die and Moonraker from Fleming, although I am working my way slowly through them as I feel I really should make the effort.

Any favourites from your bookshelves? Do tell!

Thanks @Agent_99 he is part of the Sideshow series of figures that came out around 2000. The position I was in at the time meant I couldn't buy them then.

Some were better than others but I think this George Lazenby one is the best. They're pretty rare these days but there's a few on ebay for sale.

Are you going to try and purchase the others? It would be like your own personal Bond assignment? :-bd

Possibly @RogueAgent I have my eye on the Moore figure from TMWTGG

That would probably be it as I just don't have room!

@Max_The_Parrot - it isn't really worth taking a picture of mate. Just some books. The coffee table books I've got are about twenty years out of date too. I've considered getting that Bond archives book a few times. Maybe when NTTD an updated version will come out. I'll consider it then.

I have that model, plus a few more from sideshow. Dalton from LTK, Moore from LALD and the best one, Connery in full TB scuba gear. I have pushed the boat out and purchased and waiting on, the Baron Samedi figure from big bad toys. It's a stunning figure. If the wife finds out what I spent...I'm dead!!!

What does figures like the Lazenby one and others go for? Never been in the market for figures, but I'm curious about the prices.

@BondStu I find the original Archives looks amazing but is completely impractical to read thanks to its size and, especially, weight - I reckon I’ve got deep vein thrombosis from it! The Spectre version looks like it’s much more practical, or like you say hold fire to see if a NTTD version appears!

Can’t beat a good Bond book I reckon! I must make more effort to get stuck into the Bond fiction.

Is that the Samedi from the Big Chief Studios @Mathis1 ? They are super expensive but do look amazing. Keep your bank statement away from the wife!

That's what I meant Big Chief studios!
Yes, they are superb productions. If I only buy one that is the most impressive.

I'd love a whole room but at least that cabinet is on display in the living room. All my Bond books and magazines are stored away (with easy access obviously!)

Well they were around £25 when they came out so they haven't increased in value much.

I wouldn't pay more than £50 for them.

The Big Chief Bond figures are over £250 each!!!!

£50 sounds better than £250 that's for sure! But I shouldn't be surprised I guess; I mean, the 007 Store sells a £4,895 backgammon set!
