    Bond has been around for so long and though Connery was the original I have been around for all actor changes thru the years. So nowadays,

    I think of the current Bond, when Brosnan was Bond I thought of him, and now that Craig is, I always think of him.

    For me it's Pierce Bronsan. He has always been my favourite James Bond in the franchise. Pierce Bronsan was born to play James Bond.

    I think of my least favorite Bond, Brosnan. Say whatever you like about him, he sure looked like James Bond should look. And he was the Bond of my childhood, and all my favorite video games had him on the cover, so his image grew on me.

    Everyone knows my favorite James Bond is Pierce Brosnan, but these days, when I hear 'James Bond,' I instantly think of Daniel Craig.

    I don't really know. I think of every 6 faces of Bond. But the main one is Brosnan.

    Pierce Brosnan was born to play James Bond 007 ! The whole look and facial expressions are his belonging, and that's a fact.

    But here it's just question of generations (60's will see Connery ; current fans Craig and some others Dalton, or even Moore of TSWLM)

    Pierce Brosnan is the actor I grew up watching 007's and I'm glad about it !

    But as I'm a real fan of Ian Fleming's character I picture actors in this order when the name is heard :

    1. Brosnan

    2. Connery "1 to 4"
    3. Dalton 87
    4. Moore 77

    5. Lazenby
    and Craig 2012 come later in my mind.

    In addition, from non-Bond actors (yet), I can also see Hugh Jackman and Michael Fassbender.

    Moore Is who I think of as Bond, Brosnan was the one I grew up in the earlier stages, and, Craig, because he is the Bond of my teenagehood, and a brilliant one at that.

    (ok the last few mentioned were more 'what' than 'who' but I'm standing by it) They are just the first things that came to mind for 'when you hear the name James Bond'

    I agree with Saunders and GL. Sometimes it's Sean Connery and sometimes George Lazenby - but mostly it's an anonymous figure who is a combination of Connery and Lazenby in an evening suit and bow tie.

    Lazenby was a decent Bond, but only had the one appearance, so doesn't always come to mind for the benefit of this thread title. If George had appeared in more releases, which is a pity in retrospect, he may have been worthy of an inclusion here, and also, On Her Majestys Secret Service is far from a favorite release of mine

    No, it has to be Sean Connery above all else, and maybe Dalton with it. I can't really add the other four actors into it for this

    Although Connery is my favorite Bond, my immediate vision when I hear the name is based on the silhouette on the front of the Ian Fleming paperbacks I used to get from the library. And when I try to imagine a more detailed face, it's somewhere between Dalton and Brosnan.
