Top 10 Bond Films with the Best Cast?

From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball
You Only Live Twice
Live and Let Die
The Spy Who Loved Me
License to Kill
Goldeneye
Casino Royale
Skyfall

OHMSS doesn't have a bad cast, but it feels like just a little something is missing to keep it from being in the top 10, IMO.

I look at the overall picture. Films like AVTAK, TWINE, TMWTGG have very good villains for example, but the cast is not well-rounded so I can't rank them high in this regard.

    I can't think of 10. But in no particular order, and mostly due to a good cast of villains:

    FRWL
    OHMSS
    OP
    GE
    CR

    (LALD - memorable villains)

    Often the weak points in the cast are the (non MI6) allies. Aside from Kerim Bey, Columbo, maybe 1-2 others no-one really stands out

    In terms of allies, TLD actually does really well: Saunders, Pushkin, Karman Shah. Three excellent allies for only one film.

    True. this time villains lets TLD down. The relationship between Bond and Saunders has grown on me. I like how it develops throughout the film

    Sadly no one ever includes John Terry's Felix Leiter in that list. ;)

    DAF, TWINE, and DAD are definitely the weakest for cast I think. Sophie is great in TWINE but much of the others are disappointing.

    I can t rank this either, but the first three stand out in this department as well. CR is another that got it right.

    Both GE and CR immediately come to mind. FRWL, OHMSS, OP, TLD, SF, and SP* all have strong casts as well. TB and TSWLM would come a tier below, but great nonetheless.

    Much as I enjoy George, his lack of range and depth halt me from adding the otherwise fine cast to the list. Kara eliminates any chance that TLD may have had.

    Worse cast credit should go to Die Another Day. Also from Waltz and Seydoux not fan from in first place. I hate Eva Greene as Vesper and don't give a dam she died and that also count for Solange.

    Thunderball have moost unknown. To unknown. Whyle you can see positive side about this is that those chacters sometimes stil feels fresh. But overall as moost known, i am not big fan of the movie. Worse Felix.

    Octopussy and TLD have one chacter that i dislike a lot. TSWLM Stormberg and Moonraker Hugo Drax and Julian Glover need time to like. Also again not a fan of Felix in TLD, it already should have been Hedison or guy from DAF.

    Goldeneye have best cast. Every chacter works. OHMSS is very good.

    Skyfall is my last favorite movie those days, also because of ''Eve''. Overall good cast, but Harris fit better in Spectre.
