    Roger Moore as the villain in a rumoured Bond movie called 007 MIA, which was set to release in 2008 with Daniel Craig as Bond. Lol that was just a joke dont take it seriously.

    Sean Connerys toupee from NSNA was actually the same one used when Bond turned Japanese in YOLT.

    Julian McMahon was considered to play Bond. I think McMahon himself started this rumor.

    I was going through some of my old threads that I started and I thought I would try to bump this one as I enjoyed reading the responses. Any more fake rumors to report?

    Rumour I read in a tabloid at the time (Ici Paris, which is considered in France to be even more disreputable than The Sun) :

    LALD was to feature a scene where Bond would be entirely naked, except for two pistols on a string to hide his... family jewels.

    Then, there was the rumour that Bond would kill Octopussy in OP.

    As for the Olsen twins rumour : 1) Many child stars have gone on to have big careers and critical and public acclaim long after the parts that made them famous (Jodie Foster, Judy Garland, our own Sophie Marceau). And 2) Their sister Elizabeth isn't too bad herself. So that one I could have seen happening.

    I've always liked the song, even long before I actually knew it was based on James Bond. I was only six years old when it was released and only two years into Bond.

    5. Bond 23 is The Hildebrand Rarity a favorite Fleming title of mine and rumored days before Skyfall was announced... Maybe Bond 24 :D
    6. Matheu Armanic, Ralph Fiennes, any actor who is male and we don't know the character name is Blofeld... Blofeld was rumored to appear in Quantum and he wasn't I doubt he'll be in Skyfall and find Fiennes as a future M far more interesting.
    7. Bond 21 will be set in Ireland and feature Irish terrorists personally I would of found this to be a far more interesting end to Brosnan's tenure then what we got.
    8. Bond 17 will be the property of a lady and feature the hand over of Hong Kong.. we all read the plot but I don't believe it's been verified as being A) real and B) used for Dalton's third especially the title part. irregardless good outline would of loved to see Dalton in it.
    9. Danny Boyle will direct Bond 23 first Skyfall rumor and a good one at that.
    10. Mark Strong will be the Villain in Skyfall another nice rumor that wound up being false.
    Love all of these and here are 10 more that as of this date are rumors

    1. Tom Hardy is Bond number 7: look no one believed this rumor but I wanted it to be true I like him as 007 and would love to see him in bond 26
    2. Chris Nolan as bond 25’s director: look while his dialogue has always been pretentious I still enjoy Batman begins the dark knight and most of rises
    3. Bond 25 is Shatterhand: as a title I feel this will happen eventually and I don’t mind it


    Those are 3 for now

    He never liked RW, he just thought his casting as Bond was a done deal. I explained it was a stupid rumor and how it came about.
