Bibi Dahl and Dolly are fairly interchangeable. Dolly Dahl.

Correct, but it is even more creepy imagining Dolly sneaking into Bond's bed.

"you're wondefull, Dolly, I just think your uncle Hugo won't approve."

    FYEO beats AVTAK 19-6

    TB vs OP

DN over DAF. No contest there; one of the best vs. one of the weakest.

TB over OP. OP is good, but TB is very good.

    DN positively destroys DAF.

    TB beats OP handily.

I'll join the inevitable large chorus claiming the win for DN and TB.

DN vs DAF - DN by a country mile and then some. I enjoy DAF immensely, but it's camp. DN is serious business and Connery is far more lethal and effective in his first outing. "Bond, James Bond". Nuff said.

TB vs OP - TB. My #2 ranked Bond film. The dialogue, villains and locations are all better. The plots in both films are decent enough. Connery under Terence Young's direction is in a league of his own, although Moore is excellent in OP too. It's just that Connery in this film is better.

Very of few of the other films can withstand any of Connery's first four (can only think of four that would even be in the running in my mind).

    DN
    TB

DN beats DAF, but I do enjoy Diamonds. It's just lacking in some areas.

I know I'm going to be in the minority here as I'm picking OP over TB, and it's not much of a contest either. TB isn't bad, but I do think that it's probably the most overrated film on here by my fellow members. I just don't see the supposed greatness. OP provides me with a much more entertaining experience and is the better overall package.

Gotta go with the 2 Terence Young-directed entries with Connery's Bond in his prime:

    DN and TB

I think I actually enjoy DN and DAF in a similar way. DN is certainly better on most levels but I must say that I nowadays rather enjoy watching the funnier DAF. Since DN will win this round anyway I give it to DAF

OP and TB are both good but not flawless. I think I enjoy OP a little bit more.

    DN easily beats DAF.
TB just beats OP ,2 of my favourite films there - that was close and tough to decide.

Wanted to change my vote to TSWLM in the game against FYEO but Spy didn't need it.

    Anyway, next ones are easier.

DN and TB with no fuss or bother.

    DN over DAF.

As much as I love OP, I'm going to go with Thunderball because it's a damn classic and showcases Connery at his best. Can't beat that.

    DN vs DAF: DN
I love DAF like I love that strange, drunk friend who always makes my laugh.
I love DN like I love the mother of my future children.

    and

    TB vs OP : TB
Narrow margin, this. OP is a delight, but with TB, the nostalgia factor seeps in.

DN over DAF . DAF has been rising through my ranks and is really rewatchable, but so is DN and it just ticks more boxes than DAF.

TB (9) over OP (12) by a slim margin. This is part of my rankings list that can flip flop from viewing to viewing. Both are fun romps with great action - OP being a little more humorous and TB being a little more grand in spectacle. TB always has great memories because it reminds me of my honeymoon and how we went to a few of the more remote shooting locations one of our days in the Bahamas.

    OHMSS, LALD,TSWLM and CR.
    That's what I was thinking.

Personally I'd leave TSWLM and gently bump LALD in favor of YOLT. Popularly, OHMSS and CR are pretty much a lock; I can see one of the others being replaced by GE perhaps and/or one of TLD, LTK, or SF.
