    What about Dryden and his 'contact' ? Very light-weight characters, but because of them Bond has his 00-status, so they where influential. We could also nominate Jusuf Kabera, as he led Bond on a path of revenge.

    Graham Greene said the environment of his novels were big characters themselves, that's why the cars and the guns are in my list....with that in mind all the art directors involved in the Bond movies are the daddies.
