    The FYEO chase is great, but it's a little too high in ranking for my tastes because of the score.

    Ok, I was going to do this when there were 10 to go, but I see that it necessary to remind you all of these chases and how they actually unfold. Here are the remaining 12 car chase scenes:

    I will say that while I enjoy the FYEO Citron chase, it is NOT the best chase here. To me, it feels like a chase filmed by a group of ambitious amateur film students who didn't have the money to pay for a Lotus, so they got a rental Citron with full insurance and trashed it! The scene is also bloated with exposition like the SP chase, and it grinds to a halt when they need to flip the Citron back over half way through!

    Also, the OP stolen Alfa chase is WAY overrated! The chase itself is only about 1 min long, and involves a German woman yelling, a few idiotic German police officers, and Moore driving quickly on a highway, that is all. Not to mention after the chase he puts a clown costume on in like 10 seconds!!! Everyone knows you wear a turtleneck to diffuse a bomb!

    I feel strongly that the OP chase is the weakest one left in contention, and that the FYEO chase is no better than 5th in this list, (and that is generous). I implore all of you to watch each chase and remind yourselves of the actual scenes, and not the films around them (I speak here specifically of OHMSS). Just because a scene is memorable does not make it the best (I speak of FYEO here), and remember that some scenes are far less technical, successful, or as long as others, (I hope somehow, the OP chase has a plummeting nose dive right now!!!)

    Thanks for the videos. Looking at the OP chase again, I think it's great. A real lean sense of urgency. You've tempted me to vote for it tomorrow.

    The FYEO chase tried to do something refreshing and different by giving Bond an underpowered car. Another fine chase.

    I don't think that there is an objective best Bond car chase. I personally don't really like the QoS car chase as others do, simply because it is to rushed and the cuts are so short that you really can't figure out what is going on. Some people like it exactly because of it since they find it is so intense. I just find it boring like so many mashine gun action scenes in the Brosnan era and other action movies of the time. I just don't tremember any particular moment of that scene but I appreciate if others like it but in my opinion there are not any interesting ideas used there. It is just a random road with random cars. Most of the time you cannot even figure out who is driving in which car.

    Imo, the FYEO car chase has so much more to offer. It has an ironic and more humerous character. The landscape, the locals and the Citroen (an anti Bond car) are used perfectly. There is also not another chase with unable police officers (completely unnecessary in QoS). The score fits perfectly to the chase. I think it is by far the best score for a Bond chase. It fits perfectly to the chase. I also don't think that FYEO chase is overly silly. It is amuzing and a bit more lighthearted but not campy.

    * I will continue to vote for OP as I believe it to be the best chase here. (Alongside the awesome tank chase from GE) Whilst it contains nothing new, it does have some good stunt driving, and serves a purpose. In that Bond has to get to the atomic bomb. It's a necessary chase unlike many of the others, and rather odd in that Bond is being chased in order for him to stop the villains scheme. Rather than being chased by the villains.

    ** The QOS chase is a well staged piece of driving. Marred by supposedly stylistic visuals (Ohh it's the Astons footpedals...Bond is shifting gear. Amazing.) And jumpy camera work, and super fast editing. Something I loathe. Also gets points deducted as we didn't see the start of the chase. How long have they been driving before we catch up with the action in the tunnel?

    Now that you mention it, while I love the LTK truck chase, (its in my top 3), I think it has an overstated score at above 30. My comments about the FYEO and OP chase are not to say that I do not like them. They are great, I don't dispute that, but for me, the OP chase is just not technical or compelling enough to place it above any of the remaining chases.
