The Bond Girl Beauty Pageant - RESULTS

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome at the official <font color=blue>Bond Girl Beauty Pageant - 2011</font>. The next couple of weeks, we'll vote for the prettiest girl in the Bond series.

Please always bare in mind that

<ul>
<li>we're voting strictly on <b>physical appearance</b>. The importance of the part, the nature of the character,... should not influence voting.

<li>only <b>girls with sufficiently significant speaking parts</b> can enter the contest. Ladies from Binder's opening titles, blink-and-miss appearances in the back and so forth, will not participate.

<li>recurring Moneypennies and Dench's M will also remain absent from the contest.
</ul>

The program of the show is as follows:

<ul>
<li><b>[1]</b> Qualification round: best looking girl from each film

<li><b>[2]</b> "Best looking girl per decade" category

<li><b>[3]</b> INTERMISSION: "Best looking singer" category

<li><b>[4]</b> "Best looking girl in the Bond series" category, a contest between the winners of round [2].
</ul>

The rules are simple and as usual:

<ul>
<li>I shall post new entries once a day, allowing myself an occasional break if something comes up.
<li>Each member gets one vote per entry.
<li>Please refrain from making irrelevant posts, however it's always interesting to tell us why you made a certain choice.
<li>My alertness isn't always absolute. Have I forgotten a girl, don't hesitate to tell me. ;;)
</ul>

I'll be posting the first entry soon. But for now, I can only wish you a lot of fun in advance! Happy voting.

    Sounds fantastic Dimi, very much looking forward to participating. :-bd

    However, I can't see the Major, and the large Dalton fanbase being happy that the loveliest of ladies won't participate : Her! Booooo! to that I say! ;)
    But yeah, makes sense cutting people with 15 seconds of screen time!

    Honey Ryder - well... One of the most iconic scene in movie history... I am sure Connery was near heaven when filming that scene... I know I would be !!

    I'll vote for Honey. Is it possible to post pictures of all of the contestants because I don't even know of a few of these girls? I haven't watched Dr. No in a long time.
    I'm planning to use pictures once the qualification round is over with, say in a month or so. The problem, however, is that finding pictures of some of these ladies is a daunting and time consuming task. I'm truly sorry, friend, I wasn't planning on doing that for this round. Silly me. #-O

    From a girl's POV, I thought Honey Rider was probably the most prettiest in that film. Sylvia Trench is pretty too, but Honey just seems to have natural beauty.

    I fear that a lot of people are mentioning Honey Ryder because of her iconic enterance from the sea...as we're going solely on looks I always found Miss Taro to be stunningly gorgeous.

    Nice followup to your last thread Dimi.

    Got to go with Honey Rider. As radiant as Sylvia Trench looks with the red dress at the tables, Honey gets the slam dunk coming out of the sea with the white bikini.
